Let me start by saying that I am disappointed. And I rate this place 4 over 10. Normally I don’t like giving reviews. But I have to do this one because I paid almost $100 for my food yesterday and I am disappointed real disappointed. I am from out of state and I saw this restaurant on Google. I called to order four different type of dish for my family. Efor riro with Eba, okra soup and Eba, and another side of eba half isiewu (half goat head), and Asaro (yam Porridge) thinking the food will be as good as they have 4.5 good reviews. The food was a disaster. The okra soup is like one or 2 scoops of serving spoon of soup and it looks watered down so bad, I mean the soup is really small. The efor riro does taste anything like Yoruba efor riro it taste awful, I’m not a your person but if me as an outside is saying the efor is bad Believe on my mothers life the food is bad. The efor riro is the same thing as okra soup it’s watered down and it’s just one or 2 scoops full of serving spoon. The isiewu is manageable and the asaro is blah. But the time I got to my Airbnb they it’s late i was so mad and I threw the efor riro soup and okra soup along with the Eba in the trash….

Ordered from Uber eats, Suya and plantains. Suya was $19 and I received these tiny portions, and there are no Suya seasoning on this. The plantains are also not flavorful.

Very nice food. They are very nice here and they will always get your orders right. Also, this is the best isi-ewu I’ve tried since I got to the usa.

I just ordered this meal and what I received was totally different. The food was tasteless and the meat was very fatty, and I couldn’t eat it. Not worth what I paid and had to trash everything.

Ok, so I went there a couple of times and the first day I ordered suya. It was good, but pricey for a small container. Then I went back with the husband and ordered food at 6pm to be told they close at 7pm. So, we were like ugh why? The lady explained but then was rushed out the door so she could get out of there. Only to find out that our food wasn’t fresh. We ordered fried rice which was not fresh AT ALL, we had chicken and Plantains. Now the only thing I ate off that plate was the Plantains. My husband had pepper soup. He didn’t like it due to it wasn’t fresh or made with love. It was salty and the broth he knew wasn’t fresh as well. Needless to say it was fun while it lasted but will not be ordering there anymore.

I ‘stumbled’ upon this gem by accident last week, and I am so glad I did. Customer service was on point, and the food was very very delicious! I followed the manager’s recommendation to try the bitter leaf soup with poundo. I also tried the smoked catfish peppersoup and side order of Stewed croacker fish— let’s just say my taste buds were very happy! Everything was on point! I will definitely return when next I’m in town.

I am Nigerian and LOVE food, but especially my people’s food. That being said, I don’t normally do reviews but since they are new, I figured it could help them and those contemplating trying them out. DO IT! The atmosphere is clean and inviting. The service was really great, the owner and I had a lovely conversation and I also loved how she interacted with the other customers. The food was bomb af. I got the amala and egusi with goat meat. The meat was perfect texture and the egusi was flavorful. The amala was soft too without any lumps. I also tried the suya, which was pretty good but honestly not the best I have had in the area. When I go back (maybe tonight sef lol) I would happily get everything again but I want to work my way through their menu. I hope they continue to grow and the quality of the food and service stays 5 stars!!
