I think they opened pretty recently but, their food is great! This is the first all five star review I have given since I started leaving reviews. So, the first thing is the food. Delicious. The baked Mac and cheese was some of the best I’ve had. It has everything you want from the five cheeses, to the texture and color. The service was really good. They gave us a sample of their sweet potato corn bread and they were very welcoming. The atmosphere was nice too. They have tables to sit and dine or just wait for your meal. The price is about in line with other restaurants I’ve been to. The chef is making the meals. Chef Tasha is her name. Overall great experience.

This was my first time trying food from Tasha’s, and let me tell you, everything tastes so delicious!! We were just driving by to see where the place was at and decided to try something on the menu. We had the oxtail (fall off the bone, seasoned well) w/ mac n cheese (cheesy, could use a bit of salt but that’s me, you can add your own), candied yams, rice & peas, sweet potato corn bread and the curry goat roti w/ dhal puri shell. Everything tastes so good and you get a lot of food. Tasha’s did not disappoint!!! We’ll be back.

from the vibes to your first bite.. this place is home away from home. you can LITERALLY feel the love and ancestors surround you in this restaurant. the owner is super sweet and staff and very kind and patient. it’s truly a community restaurant. this your momma cooking in the kitchen type food. do your taste buds a favor and go ! my family and i had such a great visit and we’ll absolutely be returning again. i ordered chicken stew, macaroni and cheese, yams and sweet plaintains. my son ordered a veggie plate and my partner had the honey jerk salmon with macaroni and cheese. we even had desert ! peach cobbler and another amazing dessert i wish i remembered.

COME TO THIS RESTAURANT NOW. That is a hidden gem in the east orange/orange area. I was here picking up a delivery and out of the blue i was given some wing flings by the cook who i believe is the owner. And this is the first time I’ve eaten fried chicken that didn’t leave my fingers greasy and it was crunchy as Popeye’s with perfect seasoning no ketchup needed. Well worth the wait for made to order authentic flavored food.

Great food & experience. The restaurant has a nice ambiance upon entry. Greeted well and were very accommodating with requests. Ordered oxtails with rice & peas and cabbage, Mac & cheese, collard greens, potato salad, cornbread & lastly cheeseburger & fries Everything was GREAT!! Great portions and presentation. They put oxtail meat inside or shrimp curry roti meal . I only eat seafood so when I called about they lady says it’s made to order and they. Don’t make beef curry . I already know they don’t make beef or oxtail curry which is why I called . Offered to show a picture and they wanted to keep arguing instead of fixing it . Heads up for those who only eat seafood especially because this ruined my whole meal . And the shrimp curry was already wrapped in the roti when I purchased . So I didn’t see until I opened it . This was an Uber eats order that I set for pick up .

Wow! What’s there not to say about the food, the hospitality and the service provided at this special place! You too will be calling this your home away from home once you allow yourself to witness and taste all the Love that is poured into the preparation and execution of each dish! Did I mention that everything is cooked fresh when you order! I will definitely be back many times because I want to try everything on this menu! We had Curry Goat (with cabbage, vegetables, plus peas & rice), Stuffed Salmon (with Grandmas Mac & Cheese, collard greens and corn bread), OxTails (with cabbage and rice & peas), A side of sweet potatoes, Banana Pudding Cheesecake and Banana Pudding! Absolutely outrageous portions of food and though in our minds we desired to continue eating, we had to stop ourselves and take the rest home. No worries…..I’m already looking forward to my left overs! Thank you Chef Natasha Williams and Mr. Williams for sharing your recipes with us all. I can’t wait to see where your journey takes you next!
