I got the curry goat with mac and cheese and plantains (below) and my brother got the oxtail, and as soon as we took the lids off I came to the verge of tears. This food was so damn good, I will definitely be making this the main spot for my caribbean cuisine.

It was my first time visiting this restaurant. My friend told me about it. I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and welcoming the staff was. Surprisingly, the menu was very quite extensive. The food was fresh and hot jus how I like I like it. I got the oxtail and their serving was pretty good, but the highlight for me was the cocoa bread. Overall, I was not disappointed, and definitely would go back.

To be honest, i rushed home (safely of course) to try this food since it looked so good! Also I just wanna say that the customer service was some of the best i’ve ever had. The daughter of the restaurant owners was the one who served me, she was very nice and welcoming. The food was also very good! (I bought the oxtail and cassava stew (large) along with white rice and greens as sides for both, I also bought mac and cheese and coco bread.) It all came up to around $54 but the portions are BIG (to me) so I found it very worth the price. Anyways, i’m definitely coming back again to try different menu items. I love good food

The Best Caribbean dishes in our area. The Okra stew, the Brown stew chicken. The curry The jerk it’s ALL amazing!!!! The service is impeccable, always pleasant and helpful. It’s family owned and has been around for over 20 years. There is even some African cuisine on the menu. The Bluberry Lemonade is to die for. The Coco bread, wow!!!! It stays soft for days!!!!!!

Best greens I’ve had in a while. Jerk chicken was great….spicy and plentiful. Small plate could be shared – big portions.

Dont order online thinking your going to run in and get your food and run out-THAT was not the case I paid for my food online and was ALMOST DENIED picking up my order cause I did not have my ID and the card that I used to complete the order. The the MANAGER her self told me it was due to fraud and that she looses money because of it… then told me she could not give me my food with out proof because they was watvhing the cameras. I asked her who THEY could be if she was the manager and the owner…She was lying through her teeth.

Fave spot hands down. Fave dishes are the spinach stew & curry lamb. I don’t ever leave without the blueberry lemonade.

I love this restaurant. I come here several times a week (2-3), spending an average of $25 each visit. Do the math. I love supporting black owned businesses.I have had completely positive experiences here until the young lady who I believe is the daughter/ relative of the male owner started running things. She is always on iphone headphones while interacting with customers. Yesterday, I placed an online order for cassava leaf stew. First, the order wasn’t ready when I arrived. Not a big deal. Second, when I opened the container to eat my meal, there was noticeably less sauce and the top piece of chicken was without sauce entirely. Still not so big of a deal. Since I love this place so much I decided to return for my usual – cassava leaf stew and fufu. Because of the prior days experience with the sauce, I decided to ask for the sauce on the side. The young lady first became frustrated and said she had to void the order because I asked for sauce on the side after she ran the transaction. Then she said that the sauce and chicken were cooked together, so I couldn’t have sauce on the side. Completely false. Then she said it was 50 cents extra for sauce on the side. After she opened the chicken pan and it became visible that the chicken was indeed not cooked in sauce she then asked me if I wanted sauce on the side. I had already told her no because her circle talk was confusing me. The whole time she gave inappropriate body language and facial expression because she wasn’t communicated properly. She then followed up with the comment, “ I’m trying to explain it you but you just won’t accept it.” Before giving me my order she told me, “every time you come in here you have negative energy and I just don’t want it to happen the next time you come here”. Unbelievable. Taste Budds will never have to worry about my energy again. Sometimes family and business don’t mix.

Met Fanta my first time there. She was very welcoming! Oxtails were nice and tender! She allowed me to taste a few dishes that I’m sure to try in the near future since it was my first time. The spinach soup or stew was bomb .
