We want to let you know that Taste Buds Barbeque will be opening on Sundays starting this Sunday the 19th from 12:00 – 6:00pm. The food was phenomenal. Brisket Sandwiches were off the chart! The potato salad was the best my husband & I have ever had! The staff is so friendly and kind. The interior is beautiful. Don’t miss out on this place. Sacramento finally has its #1 BBQ place in town!!!!

This is not my first time here and it won’t be my last, the food was phenomenal. The Ribs literally melt in your mouth and I’ve never tasted a potato salad that was so delicious, honestly the best potato salad in all of Northern California. Definitely a great fine dining experience.

Speaking as a person born in the dirty south the fiid was top notch.. Don’t let the modern bright anesthetics fool you into thinking this is a boring franchise that par boils the meat! The portion size was healthy and generous. The open bar is a great place to wait if you want to a quick chill spot while waiting on to-orders or meeting up with friends . Servers/staff are polite & attentive. This is definitely a place that competes with Bay Area BBQ!!!!

First off I’d like to say Owners or whoever has been responding to other comments…please respond to my review professionally. I will start off saying that the spot is upgraded nicely.I had the dried fried ribs that tasted like gizzards my granny used to make. The fries didn’t have any flavor. I was so happy to have a BOB right in my neighborhood. I host a group that concentrates on buying from BOB businesses and this visit was a fail. I asked the waitress for a fork and when she came back she said I should have raised my hand and waved at o get one so my food wouldn’t get cold….I was on my phone handling business and this is what Service is about. Instead of telling people not to come back to your restaurant as I’ve seen on previous reviews, offer them a replacement meal. I had o take my medicine so I had to bare through it. You never know if a food critic will show up: I hope this review serves you well.

Steer clear – it’ll take a while to get seated, to have your order taken, and to get your food even if it isn’t busy. Our waitress had to be reminded twice to get our order, and she kept forgetting what our drinks from the bar were.

Came here tonight after hearing advertisement on radio station WKDEE. Apparently the restaurant has a “soft opening” currently. Grand opening is the end of the month. The advertisement nor the website indicates this. I had reviewed the online menu and was ready for the deviled eggs with shrimp however when we arrived they were crossed off the menu with a few other things. If would be helpful to let customers know not all items are available since the grand opening has not occurred.

They weren’t busy at all and it took 55 minutes to get our food. When we finally got our food, fries were cold/soggy. The greens were still being cooked so we weren’t able to taste them. Fried wings weren’t seasoned they were just ordinary fried chicken. Mac n cheese was bland, ribs had to be cut off the bone with a knife. I’ve never seen brisket sliced thin like bacon, overcooked taste like jerky! And the 3 tables being served including ours a total of 9 people. So we didn’t understand what took so long!!! We will never go there again!!!
