Looking for a place to eat great Caribbean food? Look no further! This new restaurant is a cozy spot with great food, an inviting atmosphere, and a chef who is from the Virgin Islands. His food is authentic, seasoned well, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I loved the Jerk Chicken, Plantains, and Cabbage. My husband had the Mac and cheese, Ox Tails, and Curry Chicken. We were greeted with a smile and left with an even bigger one. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed! You can eat in or take out. Either way, you will love it!

Upon waking in the door I hear, “Good Day!” A nice Caribbean man by the name do “Aban” was ready to take my order as I entered this whole vibetastic paradise! The music is…as the kids say “Bussin, Bussin!” Check out the pics, they have dine in, take out and a restroom for those who drink too many ginger beers. Oh and how did I forget this space is handicapped accessible! Can’t wait until they have live music nights and a space for the people to relax and vibe out while eating their delicious pumpkin bread pudding, homemade ginger beer, Jerk chicken and pineapple mango salad! P.S. there is also parking in the back!

First time eating here. We were pleasantly surprised. I had jerk chicken, rice and beans and Mac and cheese. My wife had curry chicken, mixed veggies and rice and beans. Jerk chicken was well seasoned. Generous portions on sides. My wife complained her chicken was small compared to mine. Restaurant was clean. They have a small seating area but I think they do more carry out. Restroom was also very clean. We will return again!

The food was excellent – both the jerk chicken and snapper were seasoned beautifully and cooked perfectly. The sides (rice and beans, plantains, mac and cheese) were delicious and made from scratch. Even the salad dressing was bursting with flavor. There is some definite attention to detail and culinary skill at work. All the staff we interacted with were warm and friendly. Definitely don’t miss Taste de Caribbean. We plan to return as soon as possible.

They serve up a big plate of really healthy and very tasty food, for a very reasonable price. I love the sides: cabbage and carrots, simple and satisfying just with a little bit of butter. The plantains are nice and sweet. And the Cajun shrimp is superb. It feels like very comforting home cooking. Proprietor is a really friendly guy and the vibe in the place is relaxed.

Yal let me tell you y’all got to try this food if you haven’t been you need to go . Real pleasant place the staff was amazing, the owner abal was very nice. I went for Jamaican patties an left with a whole meal an some ting. I got jerk chicken with rice&beans an steamed cabbage an carrots..The whole experience was nice .The kicker was that I’m from St John’s Antigua an the owner from St kitts, so we were able to trade a few favorite foods. I’m sitting here well pleased an taste buds happy..I will definitely be back .I just came here 6/1/22..nice to have my roots close to me . The food is well seasoned an my portion was great..Thanks you guys for a great lunch. See yal soon

I ordered my favorite combo of rice and peas, cabbage, curry chicken and plantain. I was highly disappointed that sauteed bananas were being passed off as plantains! I only realized when I was driving home and smelled the strong scent of banans in my car. Not cool. The food was delicious, but I had to go to another restaurant close to home to get PLANTAINS to complete my flavor profile!
