We went here for drinks after seeing signs in Tampa to stop in. Walked into a very busy and energetic bar and the bartender Jacob promptly got to us and made us some amazing drinks! They also had some fantastic food options; all of the plates looked and smelled so delicious as they passed us…especially the desserts. The octopus special smelled especially special! I plan on coming back for food again soon! Great spot to take a date for drinks!

Sadly, I have stayed at the Embassy suites for five nights. I had eaten there 3 different times. Tonight I went down there at about 5 o’clock and I was going to order dinner when the waitress proceeded to tell me that it was 5 o’clock and that there was free drinks well drinks for me and snacks for the little one over in the reception area at the hotel. Apparently my casual attire tonight set the mood that I did not belong. Seeing that I had to feed the three year-old before she went to bed and Because of the obnoxious way I was treated I ordered her a flatbed pizza and I returned to my room. Thank you for making me feel completely uncomfortable. by the way, there wasn’t any sauce on the flatbread pizza.

The food is not good. I purchased the meatballs and havana rolls. They were terrible. The meatballs were not there it was mushy and so salty that we were not able to eat it. The roof of my mouth felt raw, that’s how much salt was there, and I took a big bite :(. The havanna night eggrolls were overcooked. It tasted burnt. I have tried this place before, and I do not know what has happened. The atmosphere is nice and the servers are great. Just come for the drinks and stay away from the food!!!

We were there for a long weekend and for the Lightning hockey game. We stopped by Taste for a bite to eat, but Jacob and Gary made us want to come back just for drinks, which we did right after the game. They were a lot of fun and excellent bartenders! Jacob saw what I preferred in drinks and got me to try the “chocolate covered strawberry” drink that he created. I was hooked! Thanks for making a great weekend even better!!
