Very clean place, roomy, extremely good service and amazing fresh food. You name the dish and it’s on the menu. Healthy options as well as Chinese favorites, soups, salads, hearty dishes and deserts. Fire, ems and police get a 10% discount! I am beyond impressed. The bad reviews you will see are false. The cooks were replenishing the pans quickly to keep it fresh and full.

I gave it a 5-star rating because it’s the best Asian buffet in town. It got that way by being the only one. It’s like most others in that the food tastes like Websaurant (or whoever) pre-prepared generic but it is palatable. The wait staff are respectful and get around as needed. I go there when I remember that they are an option. The price is as you might expect from this kind of restaurant. It’s a short distance West of Walmart and not too too far off the road to find if you’re actually looking for the place. I’m glad they came back from their failed attempt at running a steak house because they were awful at that.

I went on a Wednesday afternoon at dinner. The place wasn’t terribly busy, and the food was very good. Special recognition to the noodles and honey chicken! A little more expensive than o would have expected though.

If you’re in the mood for cheap Chinese food this is your place lunch is only $11 and dinner is only 13! you’d pay the same price at a restaurant for one plate that you would here for all you can eat!! and the food quality is great everything is always really hot I like that they use short pans so you know that the food hasn’t been sitting there all day.

This is the only Chinese buffet in Durant but that doesn’t mean your only option for Chinese. I prefer Asian Gourmet. The food here is just not good even by buffet standards.

So we ate there yesterday first let me say the food was ok typical buffet food. Post said seafood buffet no seafood buffet yes there were frogs legs they were good three kinds of shrimp but I’m guessing it the shrimp on the buffet daily. The draw for me at a Chinese buffet is coconut cream shrimp and mussels neither were there. Just my preference. Will we go again yes but I would drive to Sherman for the bigger buffet with mussels and the coconut shrimp when time allows. Oh I was not asked about a drink refill though my husbands was refilled.

The dining room and ladies room were clean. The cook constantly checked the buffet tables for food availability. Food was tasty but there is not a lit of choices for a buffet.

What a beautiful upgrade. And the food to die for! Excellent customer service but they have always had that. I’ve been going to Taste island for the last 7+ years. There new building is definitely a upgrade my girl and I eat there atleast once a month and we will continue to do so
