First of all, the place has been just taken over by a former chef of 10 years from 5 Haphineses Chinese restaurant in New Orleans. This is basically a takeout establishment, though there are a few tables to eat on from take out boxes only. No waitresses. This is a family-run establishment, using the same recipes from the former owner, according to the new owner. There’s no A/C at present, and according to the daughter, whom works counter, it’s been broken for a year. She told me that the renters are liable for such repairs. I sat alone at one of the tables to eat my order with only a fan running and the entrance door opened. It wasn’t that bad, however, but had I known ahead of time I would have taken it to go. Anyways, I ordered the shrimp and lobster sauce combo which includes combo fried rice and egg roll. The egg roll was large and filled with noticeable shrimp and other fillings, and it was above average. Freshly prepared, not sitting under heat lamp, evidenced by its crispy outside casing. The fried rice looked better than it tasted. It had plenty pork, shrimp, chicken as well as the usual other seasonings. It needed more soy sauce in it. As far as the shrimp and lobster sauce, it had plenty shrimp but the white sauce was super watery, lacking enough corn starch for thickening. I brought this to the chef’s attention, though his daughter had to translate some. It wasn’t too flavorful. Both the owner and his wife are very pleasant and I met the younger children who seemed well mannered. I’m figuring on trying another item, like the Lo mein, on my next visit. I don’t want to write them off as of yet, since they are new.

This Restaurant is the Bomb, great portions and fantastic flavors. I do believe they made the egg rolls by hand! Worth every penny spent and more… by far a superior product!! Thank you very much!!! 10 stars for these guys!!!

The shrimp & chicken lo mein is SO good. They use thin noodle totally my cup of tea. The Hunan shrimp is spicy and tasty. And their homemade egg rolls. Best egg rolls i’ve had. fresh hot and great flavor. And nice service. Highly recommend this restaurant ！

I called it in and was told that they just took over the previous business and did a ton of cleaning in the kitchen. The young lady in the phone was polite and kind to ask me to give them a try. So i stopped by and ordered a bourbon chicken. The young lady was so happy and excited that i actually stopped by. She offered me a free bottle drink and also a handful of candies. And the bourbon chicken was just amazingly Yummy. The candies Yummy too. Great service and food. Definitely will come back to try their other dishes.

Decided to try it based on reviews.. I drove in from New Orleans. We weren’t disappointed. The egg-rolls rock! Large pieces of shrimp and pork! The sesame chicken was very good! One piece of Crab Rangoon was large! Very big portions..Definitely going back!

I can’t stress how AMAZING this place is!!! I usually get the shrimp & vegetables (spicy) it’s so good I have gotten it atleast twice a week! Tonight I decided to get the chicken in hot garlic…. So so good! My family and I love the food and great service!! They are so personable! 10 out of 10! Shrimp toast-perfect! Chinese donuts-perfect! ALL the food freshly made! Thank y’all so much!

Let me just say I have tried at least a half dozen Chinese restaurants in the Metairie/Kenner area and this is by far THE BEST. I got the Kung Pao chicken with Cho Cho (shrimp filled wontons) as the side and a small hot and sour soup. Everything was hot and fresh, great flavor all around. I recommended the Cho Cho too if you like shrimp. To top it all off, the service was 10/10, very nice and friendly. Can’t imagine myself getting Chinese take out anywhere but here for the foreseeable future.

First time ordering food from here. Everything was fresh, delicious and massive portions (s/s chicken, gen tso chicken, beef and broccoli and lo mein) Egg rolls were huge!! Great customer service! Will definitely be ordering from here again.
