Taste of China has apparently no problem stealing money from their customers. I placed an order online for pickup and selected 10% as a tip, which was roughly $3. Seeing as they provided no service to me yet i felt this was appropriate. I showed up to pickup my order and was told my total was now $40, which was a shock to me considering online it told me my total was $30. i didn’t question it and assumed i was wrong or maybe my selections had added on fees of some sort, but no. They had gone in after i placed the order and changed the tip to $10, which is ridiculous considering like i said before, i had received no service. i’m a bartender for a living so i know what it’s like to make tips, but you would never catch me scamming my guests to line my pockets. I called and asked what happened because i did not type in $10 and there is no $10 button/selection online. the person who answered was so rude and said “you want your money come back and get it.” I had paid cash so there is no other way for me to get a refund. I feel so stupid for ever supporting this business, for years i have told people that this place has the best chinese food in cb. i will never be eating here again.

I ordered take out and had enough food to share with 2 others. Their crab Rangoon is the best I’ve ever had so far. If you order to go close to closing time they continually remind you they close in 15 minutes.

This place is Tucked right in the downtown Council Bluffs area. Taste of China is my New Go to spot. What made the list. egg drop soup, Hot and sour soup, wonton soup. Beef and broccoli, general sao chicken. Beef curry, dragon phoenix.

Quick night out. Wife had sweet and sour chicken with white rice. I had shrimp lo mein and we shared crab Rangoon with sweet and sour. A little more than we normally spend but well worth it.

Called about what veggies come in chicken lo mein vs vegetable lo mein.guy didn’t understand what I was asking so kept asking coworker. Ordered veggie lo mein combo platter. Husband picked it up and it was both the chicken combo and the veggie . Wth. There is always a communication problem there everything I order. This time they messed it up. When I called it was even more miscommunication wanting me to drive the extra one back they charged me for. Not. Said they would credit me next time didn’t ask me about name or anything until I asked. There really needs to someone there that can speak English and isn’t playing on their phones while working. Over charged by 10 bucks for one I didn’t order so yea I will get my money back in food. Disappointed again.

You won’t find better Chinese unless you’re ready for layovers on a flight to the mystical Far East. My favorites are their Szechuan style dishes and their Singapore style curry noodles. Their Mongolian style beef may be the best I’ve had. I like to pretend while I eat that I am Jack Ma conjuring billion dollar international trade deals with Alibaba. This food is fit for the upper echelon of society. Yes, they also provide excellent vegetarian options.

This place is amazing. I drive and hour and half so I can eat here . The Hot and Sour soup is perfectly made . Shrimp egg rolls are almost the size of your hand and the House special rice noodles is delicious. Hands down the best place in CB for Chinese food.
