Placed a to-go order on my way out of town leaving Athens to go back home. Called it in and was seamless getting my order placed. Told me about 15 minutes it would be ready. Arrived about 15 minutes later and they had my to-go order ready at the front desk. Told them my name, paid, and was on my way. Lots of variety. Let them know the spice level you would like if you are concerned about it being too spicy. I don’t think they generally make it too spicy by default, so if you like a lot of spice make sure to tell them.

So far, so good. This is actually my favorite Indian restaurant to date. I’ve been to others in Atlanta and Miami but this one is by far the best. I like the mango lassi, the mangos actually taste sweet and ripe in the drink, the level of extreme spicy that you can select, and the small pieces of chicken pakora they use for the appetizer plus the chili chicken is an awesome entree. Also, the variety of naan choices are nice as well. I might have to warm the servers up a bit, but other than that I say five ⭐️‘s. Service is fast and the food is very fragrant. I really enjoy the basmati rice. Keep up the excellent work! Always be kind to people, we never know who others are or what some are battling. Thank you.

“Taste of India” not at all. The standard of food is okay for gentiles who are not aware of authentic taste of Indian food. Food has no authentic “taste of India”, no where any part of India. Tandoori chicken has to be grilled on charcoal. Anyways it was cooked in deep fry oil. Tandoori chicken texture is dull (dry). Tandoori chicken rating: (0). Ordered goat achari curry it was prepared in tomato sauce, onion, fennel. Goat meat had bones which was disturbing and had pull out from the meat. Goat achari menu on scale 0 to 10 I rating: (03). While dining at the restaurant I had uninvited fella ‘bee’ (Polistes annularis) which kept hovering around.

I ordered Taste of India today with DoorDash, as pickup. We ordered the tofu curry, chicken biryani, matar paneer, and garlic naan. We got everything with a spice level 4 (out of 5).

Not bad, but not fantastic either. I’ve had better elsewhere. My partner’s tikka masala was pretty good, but my lamb was too salty (and I enjoy a lot of salt). I honestly think I would have enjoyed it a lot more if my lamb weren’t salty. I’ve had better portions for the price as well. They also started pushing our extra chairs in and cleaning the water glasses off the table before we were even out of our chairs.

Great service. Great food. They were patient with us as I accommodated my Deaf friend. We loved the food: Pakora, Vegetable Samosas, Dal, Mango Lassi. Everything was delicious. I haven’t had Great Indian food since I left Chicago!

Food tastes so great. It’s the taste of India and it’s by the name. They really do exactly replicate the taste (I’m born and raised in the Middle East). Only cons are the price is way above average, the atmosphere is dull, and the cleanliness is average.
