Definitely some of the best Indian food I’ve had in Lexington. The dinner prices are quite high, but are worth it if the craving hits for top-notch Indian dishes.

Not only was our server rude, I watched her make fun of a kind woman ordering take-out, with her co-workers. The people sitting in the booth directly behind us even thought the server was highly disrespectful. I’ve been going here for years, usually I love the food so I let the negative attitudes slide – the staff hasn’t had the best reputation for a couple of years now, at least from mine & friends/family’s DIFFERENT experiences. This time around our naan was pretty burnt on the bottom & our server left our trash/old plates in our way for our entire stay – which I didn’t bring up to her because i’m not the type of costumer to complain in person. I’d rather just write a review & move on, especially after seeing how she was treating other people. To top it all, my husband and I got food poisoning from here – which is the BIGGEST reason i’m writing this review in the first place. Will be looking for better Indian restaurants in the Lexington area.

Coconut Chicken Curry and cheese naan was fantastic! But please be aware, if you are sensitive to smell, there is a VERY STRONG chemical/perfume smell from the cleaning agents they use I’m guessing. If you are sensitive or pregnant, I recommend ordering to go.

Taste of India is ALWAYS amazingly delicious!! Been eating here for two years. This is my go to for Indian food. The service is fantastic and the restaurant is clean. You will always get more than enough food and the flavors are YUM! They also offer take out. Taste of India never disappoints!

Definitely the best Indian restaurant in the flavor rank. I do believe the lunch buffet could be a little bigger, but it provided enough. They have a special coriander chicken that was to die for!! The owners also come around to make sure you are satisfied. Try the stuffed Naan…was very nice!

Taste of India was very good. The food was hot and delicious, and the service was great. It’s pretty big and they try to spread out the customers, but only on one side of the room instead of using the entire restaurant. My only issue was that it started to get crowded and they used every table on the same side. I would’ve felt more comfortable if people were spread out more instead of sitting so close to each other. Meanwhile, the 3 servers set on the other side far away from the customers so they understand the importance of social distancing.

Good service and great food. I ordered the Lamb Korma and it was as tasty as it was aromatic. Thank you Covid for taking away the joy of having an Indian lunch buffet, you spared my waistline but took away the pleasure in tasting a variety of dishes. I hope life resumes back to normal soon and I hope the local community in Lexington gets out and supports your wonderful local restaurants. Visit these businesses, they need your patronage to survive these times. Taste of India is a wonderful establishment and you will not regret going. The naan was delicious and the mango lasso was a pure refreshing delight.
