Had an event cancel, so I had to think of a place nearby and decided on this. I’m glad I did! I missed the turn because the sign was hidden by tree branches, so if you see the bike place, turn there, as it is kinda behind it. I ordered the lamb biryani, and it was so good! Portion size was perfect. I almost finished it but wanted some leftovers because I wanted some more of that lovely food later. I came when it was slow, so it was nice dining alone with Indian music lightly playing in the background. Ambience is nice. If I am in the area again, I will return!

The restaurant is pretty good for this area. The service is nice. It is a family run restaurant and everyone helps out. From the kids to the grandparents. Oddly, we got bottled water this time instead of a pitcher of water, but that was fine. Service is really quick.

I’d never been here until yesterday, and let me say that this place is phenomenal. My husband and I came for lunch and split an order of bhajia fried vegetables, dal with basmati rice, and garlic naan bread. The dal had the option of custom heat preference (we went with medium spicy as a good starting point). The dish itself had fantastic flavor, the spices full of depth. The food was—in a word—perfect. For less than $40 total, we stuffed ourselves at the restaurant and again the next day with leftovers that reheated well. Great food, great prices. This place will surely become a new favorite.

I’ve tried more than a dozen Indian restaurants in the Twin Cities, and this is by far my favorite. Their dishes are SO flavorful, with a good amount of heat if you’d like it. Everything I’ve had there has been excellent, but favorites are malai kofta (super decadent), dahi vada, baingan bharta, mushroom masala and chicken makhani. Great naan too! And unique South India dishes that I haven’t been able to find anywhere else in the Midwest. I love this place.

Ordered Doordash from here recently and it was a mixed bag. The naan bread was very good, but the rice didn’t quite taste right. It was undercooked. The makahani wasn’t bad but it did have a strong onion flavor that seemed to overpower other spices and flavors. The palak paneer was pretty good. Haven’t dined here in-person for a while but the service was good the last time I came.

Was shorted 1 out of 3 orders. The ground beef in the beef samosa was unseasoned and the breading was far too thick.

Food is good, but the quantity is very less. I got two boxes one is circular and one is rectangular. I was expecting rice in rectangular box but i got gravy in that. To be precise size of rectangular box is like a lunch box of primary school kid or the size we used to get in a train in India.

I personally called in a to-go order with a female employee on June 10th: Boti Kabob (came with Veg. Curry), Chicken Tandoori, and Chicken Makhani. I received all food items (or so I thought) as they were labelled on their respective lids correctly (as seen in attached photos). Upon opening each dish, I noticed that the Chicken Makhani looked to contain meatballs in the sauce. I called the restaurant and spoke with a male employee regarding the incorrect food item. He found my order ticket and said that it was written down as “Malai Kofta.” I told him the lid was labelled correctly and that I could send him pictures. He declined any photographic “evidence” to their mistake. He said it was a vegetarian dish but the same sauce as what would come with the Chicken Makhani. He just kept telling me to make sure next time I order “Chicken Makhani.”
