One of the better slice shops in the Warren County. They’re usually my go to spot for along with Sonny’s on RT. 517. Today, I got their Chicago style Deep-Dish and a half buffalo chicken and half plain NY/NJ style pie which both came out very solid.

The menu states that prices have increased due to covid and the menu may not reflect these changes. With that being said, I ordered a Florentine panini and my sister ordered the eggplant parm sandwich. When asked what we liked to drink, we both said water. The waitress didn’t ask if tap was OK or bottled. She brought one, 16 Oz. Poland spring bottle to the table. The meals were very good. It was the price that left us flabbergasted. The total was $28 and some change. At least two more dollars was added to each sandwich. The Poland Spring water was $2.00. The menu stated if paying cash, you get 10% off your order. Well, there’s a catch: you have to spend $50-$100 in order to get the discount. It doesn’t state that in the menu. The waitress never came back to our table to see how our meal was, if we needed anything else or if we wanted dessert or coffee, and we were there for a good 1/2 hour or more. There were only 3 ppl in the restaurant at the time. I had to get up and ask for a “to go” container and the check (they dont give you a physical copy either, it was verbal). The owner, I think it was the owner, kept taking phone calls when we were asking him questions about the pricing of our meal. It’s unfortunate that this is how our experience had ended at this restaurant but we won’t be going back.

I’ve ordered takeout once. Decided to come in with my dad for a sit down dinner. Excellent. OMG the cajun calamari was outrageously delicious. Our entrees were very good, seafood fettuccine and the grilled rocky hangar steak. Staff was very friendly, attentive and we were not rushed. Definitely on the frequent list.

Scouting for the Pizza Hunters App. The Slice had a lot of cheese with a watered down sauce. The cheese was a standard grade, the crust was good. The parking lot is active and was quite full with the other businesses in the complex. The Service was good and people were nice. A basic slice that will do the trick. Very Salty with a lot a drip. Crust was the highlight.
