Awful. Oxtail barely seasoned, cabbage taste like water, plaintain confused some pieces mush and some extremely hard and dry, Mac&cheese has no flavor. Extremely extremely disappointed. Coco bread was good though lol I’ll keep that but it’s also prepackaged ♀️.

I ordered brown stewed chicken. Food tast good but VERY small portion for what you pay. I also ordered lemon cake . It was only a piece of cake, not a full slice. The size of a small dinner roll.

We bought chicken soup in the morning and it was really good well seasoned full of flavor, real Jamaican soup we bought beef patty and fry dumplings is sweet and nice. Small soup $4 dollars

I got a large curry goat dinner with rice. I had about 5 bones with hardly any meat stuck on them, three slices of plantain and vegetable. The large dinner was $17. I think the person serving me needed her glasses on or something, because she served me nothing but bones and gravy on my rice. Never again! Restaurants just don’t care what they serve you anymore. That’s highway robbery.

So today I went to Taste of Jamaica to buy a veggie patty and it looked closed. I got out of the car to look at the sign to make sure and to my surprise there was a mouse in the window. The mouse was alive and well just sniffing around. Now if there is 1 rodent you already know there’s a whole family. You have been warned.

My mom asked me to bring her some food that tasted like she was at her kitchen table back home, she loved the oxtail here. You Usually don’t get good service PLUS good food from a Caribbean spot but i was pleasantly surprised! Will definitely come back.

Shocked! The store was mad hot! The food was not. The coco bread was the best one you could get but sadly was not heated. Cold bread and the beef patty was room temperature. The lady behind the counter doesn’t seem happy. Not sure if it’s just RBF ?! Never again.
