Food was amazing. I got the jerk chicken, it was spicy, smoky, and juicy. The lady was very nice, I arrived before they opened and she still let me in – I knew the wait would be worth it. Make sure you check this place out next time you’re in the Lakeview area.

We were greeted the every moment we entered this business, the gentleman was welcoming and took our order with precision. When you enter the restaurant you will see beautiful and abundant plants cascading the foyer I eat from anyone who can take care of plants. Lovely experience. The parking sucks but there’s a laundromat on the west corner I think lol and parking is free. Otherwise spend a dollar and use the main street. This place lacks heavy numbers but the food is GREAT quality and the people running the place are KIND.

My 1st time trying this place. I was extremely disappointed! I paid $30 for a large order of oxtails. I got 4 halves of 4 oxtails & 2 oxtail bites!! A ton of rice & peas. The only side dish available was cabbage. When I got home & tried to call & complain, there was no answer @ 3pm. They had no desserts either! There will be no 2nd time for me, PERIOD!! The taste was just ok. I’m sticking with Da Jerk Pit!!

We dropped in on Taste of Jamaica as a whim on a Friday evening. Great service. Delicious food. Would definitely go back. No seating in the restaurant, so we took our food to the lakefront. Highly recommended.
