Today was my second visit, the disappointment was too great, they have changed a lot, the price has gone up for self service and the food taste is average, The chef’s special menu, chicken gyejang kalguksu, is really inedible, the bulgogi ttukbei is just sweet, and the yukbokki is spicy and salty. Lastly, the spam stone pot bibimbap was tasteless because the spam was too dry.I don’t want to come back. For this price, you can enjoy full service and taste at other Korean restaurants.

Really wish you could give .5 because I would give them 4.5. We got there when they opened and it quickly filled up. We are not from the area. It’s always a good sign when you see the place fill up. Service was quick food was tasty. We went for sizzling bibimbap (chicken & bulgogi) and the kimchi pork dumplings. Both were really good. They have lunch specials. Sign on the door said closed Monday – Tuesday. If you are in the area and craving Korean food, give this place a go.

Not worth the price anymore. We used to come here weekly. Changed to counter service but not the prices. Side dishes have much less variety and much smaller portion size. Did the ownership change or another hidden price increase blamed on covid? Sad to see one of my favorite spots diminish like this. Moved my patronage to another restaurant.

Drove from Springfield to come eat here. Felt the price for the service and food was not great. For two people we paid a little over $60 with tip for the special and picked the La Galbi. They gave us a lot of bones. The taste was good but the meat was too thick and chewy. They also tried to rush us out and put the check on our table at least 15 minutes before 9:00 pm closing while we were still eating and when we asked simply for Kim Chi refill they said the kitchen closed. It makes sense if it was for cooked food but Kim Chi, you just open up the jar and fill it up. Not coming back here again.

It’s a very good Korean food: generous portions, delicious spices, nice presentation, careful for a post-Covid era, service. The place is just so small, and so is, by necessity, the menu – the only drawback. Do try their soups.

I used to enjoy visiting this place. I visited last week, and I realized they changed the system quite a bit. More like McDonald’s system, you order from the touch screen, you pick up/return food. I can understand that part, but the most disappointed factor was the quality of food. I didn’t mind paying premium price for lunch as their side dishes and food quality was fantastic, just like homemade food. But now, the quality of food became average or little below, and the price they charge is still the same as before. I asked them whether the owner was changed or not, but the waitress said no. I’m totally disappointed.. The owner’s philosophy is not the Taste of Korea it was before.

We got cold noodles and dumplings and honestly, the meal was pretty underwhelming. The noodles and broth lacked flavor overall. The dumplings were good but not great. They were homemade and the skin was good but the flavor was too mild. I don’t think I’ll be back.
