This a small restaurant away from all the major Indian restaurants and stores in Hicksville, but it is among the best Mumbai and info Chinese food I have tasted in and around Hicksville. Go there at least once. Better still order take out as there are very few seats in the restaurant. The proof of that is we almost ate the food as they came and so you will see near empty dishes in the photos.

We traveled all the way from Brooklyn to try this place, because not many places serve Mumbai food. It’s a small place and is always full. We had to wait for 10-15 minutes although we had a reservation. We started off with Vada pav, Bombay style chicken kathi roll and goat sukka. The Vada pav was good, wish they had served some extra chutney on the side. The kathi roll was very disappointing. The chapati was raw and the filling was dry, barely any flavor. Some shredded lettuce and onions and grilled chicken with mayo sauce. It wasn’t “Bombay style” at all and had to send it back as it was raw.

A gem! Fantastic fresh Indian food, excellent service & a large quantity to boot. Everything we ate was delicious and our party of 4 was in agreement the service and food was top notch. Even my discerning mil loved it.

We love this place! Delicious Indian food in cozy setting. We are vegan and always try the local Indian food wherever we travel. We have yet to find a place better than Taste of Mumbai! They make everything fresh and can customize the menu to accommodate diet and allergies. Just go you will love it!

A hole in the wall off the beaten path. Walking in, this looks like an Indian Takeout. The food quickly makes a believer out of you. Definitely try the chicken chop.

Delicious food as always..We ordered almost 5-6 times in 2 weeks..taste so so good,everything is freshly made. We have tried chicken chops, chilli chicken,Amritsari fish ,butter chicken exactly India wala 😀 and of-course chicken biryani is the bestest i have eaten in entire long island ! Great customer service ! 10/10

Called for pickup, and it was my first time ordering. The food was very good and the garlic Naan was freshly made and hot (temp.). The goat vindaloo was cooked to perfection, and the flavors from the spices…. so good. Will be back.
