The food was just amazing, real Indian taste. I order chicken kadahi, even though the rice was less but the taste was still amazing. I also ordered some chicken soup which also tasted very nice, and it came with a side of papad.

Came here on a chilly June evening with my girlfriend after we decided we were in the mood for some Indian cuisine- it was the perfect pick. We were immediately seated by super friendly staff, and throughout our meal they were just as efficient. We ordered two chicken dishes, garlic naan, and shared a mango lasso. Food was flavorful, hot, and exactly what we wanted. If you’re in the area, definitely check them out! We will be making the drive to come back for sure.

wonderful service. They have the best samosa chat, better than any Indian/Pakistani restaurants on Devon. my wife and I usually order take out. They were very kind and offered me delicious tea while I waited for my order. Highly recommend to try this hidden gem.

This is such a cute restaurant downtown Evanston. Tucked away on Davis, Taste of Nepal is unassuming from street view, but has charming decor on the inside. Even better than the atmosphere was the food itself. I personally had the butter chicken, which I would be quick to recommend! My family enjoyed each part of our meal, from appetizers to entrées to beverages. The staff themselves were attentive and knowledgeable, answering questions on everything from the dishes to Nepalese culture and geography. The whole experience was enjoyable.

I liked everything, the atmosphere, the food and the service. I tried the Nepali Khasi dish and it was so good. The dumpling soup was awesome. Definitely going to visit this wonderful place with my family. I’m also glad they have the ability to deliver orders as well. I highly recommend this nice, cozy restaurant!
