I used to love this place. I make the extra drive because the one by my house on Bowles and Wads is terrible but this one is too now. Today I waited 20 minutes for a sandwich (the Regular Works) and fries which is fine, they were busy. What’s not fine is the fries were cold and this is all the meat they put on now?? That’s ridiculous for the amount of money they charge. Half of it is bread! After I told the guy my fries were cold they spoke to me as if I was lying, one of the cooks came out, stuck his hand in my fries to feel them, took the fries back, put them in the fryer for another 30-60 seconds and handed them back to me. I don’t even really care about that because the fries were at least hot afterwards. It was a little weird that they did that after his hands were in it but I’m sure the fry oil killed any germs. My aggravation is the PATHETIC amount of meat on the sandwich. Meat to bread ratio is very important for the taste not to mention it’s a complete rip off. It looks like another person had a similar review to mine 4 months ago so they obviously haven’t changed anything. This is even worse! It sucks because I used to LOVE this place.

Now I haven’t been to the other Taste of Philly sandwich shop and probably the reason why is that this location is fire !! I’ve never had a issue with any of the people who run this location or recieved bad food. In fact it has only gotten better as I’ve gone back multiple times because you can have it any way you like ! So if you want your taste buds to jump for joy and smile from ear to ear and give your tummy a tatsy treat swing on by this location and get your cheese steak on !

Friendly manager. Cool they have Bonnie brae ice cream, but after 3 visits to this location and 1 Uber eats delivery, I have confirmed this place is the worst to get TOP. They charge same amount for a 1/4 meat in cheese. I got a super 12” the works and it looks like an anorexic sandwich. I’ll post a sandwich that looks stuffed and messy , an 8 inch like a Philly should be and I’ll post the ones I’ve received from this location. Unless they stop overcharging for these skinny awful sandwiches , I’ll continue my Highlands Ranch drive all the way to Colorado Blvd , the original one that makes a Philly properly. Do not buy from here. Make the drive get more sandwich. More meat, same price. When I hear transplants complain about TOP this is what they must be talking about. The loaded one is from Colorado, the thin cheap one is from Highlands Ranch.
