Perfect location in the heart of Madison’s “Shopping District.” There was a street festival going on yet we were the only ones inside. (Which may be why the service was so fast but I digress.) Huge menu, everyone should be able to find something they like whether they’re picky or looking to try something new. Did have to walk a block or so and pay for metered parking, which was worth it to experience the community of Madison. Loved it.

Fast, hot, and full of flavor. Definitely worth a drive to State Street. The service was fast and efficient, and unlike most restaurants, the waitresses don’t bother you every second. It has a wonderful atmosphere, and the interior is just beautiful.

The fried pork dumplings are so good my favorite thing to get there. Their soy sauce is pretty salty and vinegary but overall the best dumplings ever! Food is pricey but doesn’t compare to the taste.

Food was very good but overpriced. I only gave 3 stars because no napkins, really? Really? You can’t

Great service and hot pot experience with friends. We booked a table for 14 and service was very accommodating since we made reservations. Half of our guest had never had hot pot before, but became big fans by the end of the night. We got the pots that were half spicy and half not spicy. The spicy soup is Asian spicy but should be expected when the restaurant is named after Sichuan. The non spicy soup is still flavorful and good. Sauces are provided in a buffet style table to the side with green onions, oyster sauce, sesame sauce, chili oil and more. We got a beef and pork order with udon noodles for our soups. Everything tasted great and the overall experience was great with wonderful friends and shabu shabu.

Having lived in China for long time, I can definitely say the taste was authentic. We tried spicy fish and pepper chicken, both were delicious. However, the food is heavy on wallet!!!

Rude staff, warm water, no ice for my diet coke, seriously? Ordered the fried rice with chicken and got “freshly cooke chicken” in 3 minutes. Im not a chef or anything but i do cook a lot of chicken to know it takes longer than 3 minutes. After one bite we were disgusted and sent it back for no desire to eat there anymore. Waitress didn’t even say sorry and didnt even try to take it off the bill or half off. Worst place i’ve ever been to and pathetic service. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANNA GET SICK.

I consider myself to have a pretty high spice tolerance and have strong love for Sichuan spices. The dishes at Taste of Sichuan were great, but just a heads up that they can get pretty spicy! Much spicier than other Sichuan places I’ve been to in the Midwest!

Enjoyed a great meal with co-workers. I ordered the vegetable spring rolls and Udon noodles with Chicken, both were wonderful. Look forward to my return when in town again.
