Most of the times I’ve been here it’s been somewhat empty and I can’t understand why! I guess I just eat at weird times. Every staff member is always really friendly (especially a younger lady I see at the counter often and an older lady who served my drink the last time I was there) and serve you well. The portion sizes are really generous—if you order more than one dish, even in a “small” size (a pint), than prepare to have leftovers!—and the prices are really great. The menu is super diverse, with more typical options like orange chicken, beef and broccoli, etc., and traditional Chinese dishes like chow mee fun. Almost all of the dishes have been really great, and I’ve never had anything here that wasn’t at least good. I’ve been here several times with friends and family and none of them have ever had any complaints. I’ve seen some other reviewers complain about the delivery. I can’t speak to that, since I never really order anything for delivery, but if the staff in-store are anything to go off, I’d take that with a grain of salt. Some reviewers have also complained about burnt food or portions with too many veggies, but I’ve never known anyone who had burnt food here and I’ve never had any complaints about the veggies—any “overload” of veggies compared to meat is mild if it exists at all. I recommend anyone who wants cheap, great, authentic Chinese food to try this place out. My advice: try something new from the menu here and you may well find a new favourite dish! I plan to return here soon.

Their food is really good!! You can order ahead to pick up or have it delivered. I love the orange chicken. You can get a menu to keep at home, too. The few times we have been there, it’s not been crowded. Great place to go!

I would give a one star because COVID protocols were not followed. One of the waiters was reckless, unmasked, and next to our faces. However, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt as he was truly just trying to be friendly. The hot pot was very average and not at all worth your money (unless you want the “experience”). However, the braised beef and potato was very tasty. I will be going back to try their other traditional Chinese dishes.

Did some work on the suite next door, so I was parked in the back entrance. I couldn’t help but notice how disgusting Taste Place looked. Their air vent that goes out the back of the building was literally dripping with grease.

First time here a few weeks ago. The Bourbon Chicken w fried rice was really yummy! Service was quick and extremely friendly. I want to try more food from here. I was very impressed. Cute restaurant, too.

I ordered delivery to my hotel. There was a misunderstanding & they took my order in spite of their delivery driver not being in. An employee’s mom made my delivery. She was so sweet & so helpful! The food was plentiful, more authentic than most & came with a variety of sauces to try. I’m now a huge fan of duck sauce! Thank you, everything was delicious.

I’ve been coming here for a few months now and haven’t had a bad experience yet! The staff are very friendly and will offer suggestions of items to try. The portions are very generous, cooked fresh to order and taste fantastic. Their spicy dishes are very flavorful and don’t just blast you with heat; it’s a very subtle blend that builds slowly with amazing flavors. I recommend this place regularly and look forward to my next visit.
