Awesome food! We came in for breakfast on our 36th Anniversary and we were thoroughly pleased. I’m from Orangeburg, SC but I currently live in Birmingham, AL. The liver puddin’ and onion sausage brought back feelings of nostalgia and comfort from my childhood. We will definitely be back for lunch!!!

I never had field peas before. Now, I know I will spend the rest of my life seeking ones that tasted as good as these. We were passing through, and chose this authentic, spotlessly clean soul food restaurant for lunch. We knew it was going to be great when the line was out the door when we got there, and never slowed up the whole hour we dined in. Bonus points for true handicapped accessibility ♿️!

Hands down the best restaurant in Orangeburg…I suggest trying everything…I’m trying to get through the whole menu… Stuck on a few favorites… turkey wings.. broccoli casserole… dressing… yellow rice… cabbage…cake cake OMG…it will make you say OMG!!
