I placed order for jollof rice today through the UberEats app. I selected and paid $5 extra for assorted meat. This is what I got. The rice itself was at least two scoops of rice.

So I end up at this place one night and being the only white guy there I felt apprehensive. That only lasted a second or less. The people were absolutely awesome, friendly and very fun. I actually met a woman who I am now friends with. I recently went back to meet her there and the food was great as well. I never write reviews and never thought this place would be what it is .. Just goes to show that you never really know a place till you try it. Thank you to all the people there who are genuinely kind.. ,,,,till next time Sammy

I came back here after 1 year ago because the food was that good. Today the food was horrible, service horrible and the whole place needs a make over. I sat by a sink that was located in the middle of the restaurant and people came there to wash their hands and mouths out while I was eating. The worse part is that there is a bathroom very close. The tables were left dirty with used toothpicks and I had to request that the tables be cleaned twice. I could see traffic going in and out of the kitchen without proper hygiene. Also the toilet was backed up and unkept. The food was horrible. No taste and oily. The meats were cut huge and apparently just boiled without attention. When I asked to changed the meat, we were not accommodated. I feel like I will be sick because of just the overall presentation. This is definitely not a good experience and it was pricey as well. A never again for me…lackadaisical customer service. A no no never again for me. The worse experience in dining for me.

Well tonight was my first time ordering African food from a restaurant. I’ve had African before at African parties, which I loveee! However, This was my husband first time eating African food, he ordered Jollof rice and goat meat, I ordered jollof rice and chicken. The jollof rice was very good, but the fried chicken was to hard, I wish that I would’ve ordered stewed chicken. My husband said that the goat meat was very tough. But, I’m sure I’ll order from here again.

The uber store needs to be improved. No choice of meat for their soup, they always put a small portion of meat and uncooked cow foot with little soup. That is not good. Other than that, their pounded yam is always well made but little soup and issue with the meat as stated earlier.

First, I really wanted to try this place because I pass it often, and it’s close to my house. They did not have a jollof rice at 8 PM at night, which was very surprising. Next the beef Suya that I was served was so hard I could barely get my fourth through it. I am very much under the impression that they served me old food. The chicken stew was also difficult to eat, which doesn’t make sense because stew is very easy to fall off of the bone. Needless to say, I would never come here again, and I wasted my money.

I should call an Attorney on Monday! FOOD ALLERGIES ARE VERY SERIOUS! I decided to try African food today (01/08). I ordered goat, jollof rice, yam fufu and whitening fish. My order totaled $33.00. When I tasted the fish before leaving the building, I found out it was mackerel instead. I asked the young gentleman why did you give me mackerel when I ordered whiting fish? His response was we were out of whiting. I said, you should have informed me instead of making the decision for me. Needless to say, I paid for the order trusting the remainder of the order was correct. When I arrived home to try the fufu, I was given oatmeal fufu instead. I called the restaurant and asked the same young guy, why did you give me oatmeal fufu when I asked for yam fufu? His response was, we were out of the yam fufu. I asked him, did it occur to you that I may be allergic to oats which is why I requested yam fufu? I am so upset! The restaurant owner needs to stop traveling and run his restaurant or shut it down. Food allergies are a serious matter and unfortunately, the guy who he has running his establishment when he is away has little to no regard to the damage he is doing by being deceptive. Do not eat here! They do not care about their customers. Eat Jamaican instead. The curry goat is good and you get what you ask for! If my throat keeps scratching I will be calling an attorney on Monday!
