Was looking for fried fish in the area and happen upon Tastee’s chicken and seafood. I ordered whiting, yams and greens. The staff (2 ladies) were so professional and kind. The food was made to perfection. Fish was fresh and seasoned so well with a slight crunch to it. The yams were not too sweet and soft as ever. The collard greens to not have had meat in them were so good. I think I definitely found a soul food spot to spend my money at !!! Thank you for such great service ladies. And yes I ate some before taking a photo lol

I cannot review the food here or the service as they were closed at 5:30. It says they are open until 7:00, but obviously that doesn’t work every day. I’m really bummed because I was hoping to try this place out. I’m giving four stars due to it being closed at a time when they were allegedly supposed to be open.

Compared to my other whiting platter local fav hot spots, i loved this healthy natural seasoning bake on my fish. My doordash driver was fantastic! So sweet and nice, and I wish I could give 5stars solely on how professional she was with this restaurant. The onion ring side was extra stacked, great proportions. I expected the macaroni to be a hit but sadly it didn’t meet my expectations. I ordered cake thinking they had vanilla, it was lemon cake. Yuck. Honestly It does look tasty though.

My wife and I went there last week for the first time, we both ordered fish sandwich and it was very good, they seem to make as ordered so we were there for about 1/2 hr I will order by phone next time, The service was very good and it’s clean, I will go again without a second thought.
