Very fun experience while camping in Luverne, MN! You can order inside or outside and everything is made to order. Burgers and onion rings were both really good. Wish we got some ice cream though! We will have to try that next time. Everything was also extremely affordable which is nice since everything elsewhere is crazy expensive nowadays.

There is something special, dare I say magical, about these classic drive-in restaurants. The food is pretty basic American fare – burgers, fries, soda, etc…, but the atmosphere is alive with a nostalgic energy that supplements any gap in the menu and then some.

Love the drive-in atmosphere. Friendly employees. The cheeseburger was average. The onion rings were nice and crispy. I would suggest ice cream here! I had a raspberry malt and it was great! Fresh ingredients, excellent flavor!

Dropped by and tried the staples of the menu, bacon chesseburger, chili dog, and chicken tenders, all were good and wete definitely higher quality than other fast food options. Service was quick and painless, prices were very reasonable, and I would recommend them as a tasty travel stop close to the highway.

This place saved our lives. Stayed in town, just passing through and found more than 1/2 the town shut down (lack of staffing, most likely no one wanting to work or being paid by the government not to work). The kids here are working hard for little. The food was awesome. Good Job! Stop in and tip these kids. I am very proud of them.

My husband and I travel full time, state to state.. we have been staying in pipestone for a month now and came down to Luverne to do laundry. While waiting we decided to go here for dinner as the parking lot is always packed. We both got the double bacon cheeseburger, a fry and an onion ring. Oh my god. This was probably the best burger I’ve ever eaten. It was absolutely delightful! And the onion rings were on freaking point. The only negative was the fries didn’t have salt. But I take that with a grain of salt. LOL I wish we were gonna be here longer. Because I can see myself craving a burger later down the road.

Cheese curds must be different brand from prior seasons. These were honestly very off putting visually and the taste was worse. They were tossed into garbage and this is the last time I spend money at JJs.

I love this place it’s so cool and the food is very tasty lol the staff are awesome and they make the food so fast! If your ever out in luverne you have to stop by and just try it. I eat here usually 1 a week and even go out of my way to stop here if I can, it’s so much better then anywhere else around. Thanks!

Yummy greasy drive in food. Milkshakes are super thick. Food portions were great, priced right for what you get. Definitely stopping here if I’m ever nearby again
