Deserves the title of the best Chinese restaurant in Davis! We ordered the General Chicken, Fish with Black Bean Sauce, BBQ Pork Chow Mein, and the Fried Sesame Balls. The General Chicken is honestly the best in the area, with a crispy batter glazed in a great sauce. The Chow Mein was great as well, not too oily with fresh, crunchy vegetables. The Sesame Balls came hot out of the fryer and very flavorful. On top of the great food, the owners are amazing, going above and beyond to make sure you have a great time, and they treat you like family. Overall, some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time at great prices with huge portions and amazing service.

Had the sesame tofu and Eggplant in Garlic sauce. Both were absolutely fantastic and it was soo hot and fresh from the wok we had to wait about. The sauces were perfectly balanced, the tofu was crispy on the outside and silky on the inside. Lady was very kind and welcoming. However, I felt the bowls of rice for 2.50 was a bit steep. Most restaurants charge around 1.50 to 2.00 for bowls of rice.

Waiting for my tires to finish at Vanderham, I usually walk to the bakery next to Police station but they retired! This place was worth the little extra walk. Amazing food, service and decor. I can’t believe I never ate here. Hidden Gem.

I’m not sure if she’s the owner, but the lady in the front is so cute and sweet! I would just come here for the hospitality. The food is just a bonus! We ordered the bbq pork buns (not pictured), walnut prawns, eggplant garlic stir fry and sesame chicken a la carte. The eggplant stir fry was especially good & the color was beautiful – they managed to maintain the majority of the purple color.

This place is a hidden treasure. Great for take out food but we ate in the restaurant. The person attending us was so caring. The food is delicious and the serving size is a great size(even for my husband which has a big appetite). I tried the general chicken with rice which was amazing but their Beef Chow Fun is really soft and delicious! We will definitely be coming more often. A new favorite!

Hands down the worst Chinese restaurant I’ve been to anywhere. Worse than even something like a Panda Express (it’s not even close). She is pretty nice to you, but only so she can rob you blind. She came to take our order just a couple of minutes after seating when we only had a couple of items in mind then said she’d just bring out a few others. The soup was excessively sweet, and the rest had more than a layer of salt and oil on them. When it came time for the bill, it turns out she brought out the most expensive items on the menu. She then had the audacity to mandate a larger tip when it wasn’t listed, and we believe she may have actually marked it twice (I’ll have to check my card to see if the amount is higher than expected). We also realized we never even got one of the pricier items after leaving, as the receipt had listed 5 items when we were only brought 4 (math also didn’t check out based on 4 items) – they were already closed by the time we got back. As soon as we paid she also just stopped caring at all – she never brought us boxes for the inedibly salty food when she said she would and seemed to just disappear.
