Established in 2004, we are a family-owned restaurant that started off as a buffet style eatery. Since then we evolved into a delivery restaurant at our original location on 4th Plain Blvd. Now at our current new home on SE 164th, we are serving a freshly revamped menu that includes authentic hand made noodles, traditional fried rice, and the ever popular bubble tea and drinks. Although our location and menu have changed, we are still the same family that has been serving Vancouver for nearly two decades. Our values remain the same – fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and best customer service.
Based on 276 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.3 stars. Price $$

Tasty Pot is always a good choice. We can each get something very different, and the food is all good. If you don’t try the green onion pancake, you’re missing out. My partner loves the XLB’s, and our kid enjoys the vegetable hot pot. The staff even took the time to show her how to adjust the fire, even though it was busy. We love Tasty Pot!

Our go to spot on most of the weekends. Consistency in taste of food and the pleasant dining experience made this place our favourite. We usually order Chicken mangolian chowmien which tastes soooo good, shrimp fried rice is also delicious. then our favourite starter is the crab puff OMG! the crispness and taste is amazing. We usually have quail egg which is an add on for soup but we buy separately for our little one she loves it. The best part is their Taro milk bubble tea and it was out of the world, we literally go here especially for their Taro bubble tea.

Wow! What a great spot! We had the sichuan pot as well as the seafood pot. Both were very flavorful and had great fresh ingredients. The takoyaki was absolutely delicious! Xiao long bao also very good. Our waiter recommended Hokkaido milk tea, which was the perfect pairing for my hot and spicy soup! I will absolutely be back.

We came in for lunch after being in the cold for 5 hours referred soccer games. I needed something hot to warm me up. The place were crowded because of lunch time. We checked in on the iPad to be in the waiting list(easy process). We got seated less than 10 minutes. We ordered our food and it came within 10 minutes. Let me tell you, the soup served in a metal bowl with burner underneath. My soup was boiling hot the entire time, I loved it. The broth was rich and tasty. The portions is huge, so bring your appetite. The waitress came around a few times and ask if you want more broth. All over I had a great time. The food was excellent and the service is outstanding. I definitely would come back and enjoy good food and service.

I ordered vegetarian soup! So very delicious! Fresh veggies. Good varieties. Light flavors. Very healthy. Perfect for my taste! It was very enjoyable and I will definitely go back. They do have quite a good variety of soups options. There are many other items on the menu that I do wanted to try! Great Taiwanese dish! Very clean restaurant with great service! Cost is very reasonable!

Excellent service, food was pretty good except very mild flavour in every dish, including the “spicy” dishes, needs more bold flavours. Seems popular as pretty busy and a bit of a line by the time we finished. Plenty of parking and reasonable prices for everything.

Despite working at a Taiwanese based company for two decades, I haven’t had much exposure to Taiwanese cuisine. Either that, or I haven’t been aware of the subtle attributes that differentiate a Taiwanese dish from its Chinese counterpart. That said, my co-workers have all raved about Tasty Pot, declaring it to be distinctly Taiwanese in form and function, and thus it was my assignment…nay, my *duty*, to discover what makes this hotpot so special.

Been craving hot pot for a while and didn’t know that there was a tasty pot in Vancouver. We went on a Wednesday night and we were seated immediately. I like their communal table in the middle, pretty cool design. Parking was easy, it’s in a plaza but parking anywhere in Vancouver is pretty easy.

Excellent hot pot in the area! First time visiting and will definitely be back. We ordered the Beef and Kimchi hot pot. Both were excellent and super filling. Service was very good – friendly and fast 🙂

Appetizers were amazing. Had the crab rangoons and the bao dumplings. I was expecting them to be bread baos with filling in them but they are actually more like soup dumplings. Extremely delicious. Would have ordered more of those if we had known we would hate the hot pot. We got the number 11 hot pot. Let me tell you, if you don’t like Chinese five spice, you will hate this hot pot like we did. It was absolutely terrible. We ate a few bites and eventually gave up. Got the medium spice level and it was soooo spicy. If it didn’t have that flavor I’m sure it would have tasted much better than it did. Not sure if all of the hot pot choices have that flavor but we aren’t willing to try it again. The smoothies were super delicious too. We will definitely be coming back to try more things and eat more dumplings.
