Very cute restaurant ran by really nice ladies. They have great spicy Chinese food, the toothpick lamb and dry pots are both great. Also the portions are impressive.

Delicious foods with great portion. My most favorite is fried chicken cartilage. Others are all yummy. The server is very nice and friendly. One more plus is that they offer complimentary tea and peanuts.

Tasty Szechuan is a hidden gem in Hayward and very close to Castro Valley! Service is awesome, and the food comes out so fast and fresh. Also, today is international women’s day and the staff gave us a cup to celebrate, such a sweet gesture!

Looks like they cleaned the place up a lot , I believe new owners, Pot stickers were really good. Hot & Spicy soup was good, the beef and shrimp was kinda blan. Over all was good I will go back and try something else next time.

Delicious spicy food and proper fried rice infused with wok hay. I would say the service is not bad and the lunch rush was towards the tail end when I arrived. The ambiance is more of a small hole in the wall restaurant kind of vibe. Last time I was here the spicy beef noodle soup and twice cooker pork is as on point as ever. If you are ever near the area the restaurant is worth a try.

Loved the dry pot with beef and tofu skin! You can choose 6 diff proteins/veggies and a spicy or garlic flavor. They are still working on translating the dry pot menu options but the server was so sweet to translate everything for us. The green beans were perfectly fried and extra garlicky. The eggplant could be cooked longer but flavor was on point. The owners are older and so hospitable, like eating at your parent’s friends house 🙂 they treated us to a cool Chinese dessert concoction and boba/smoothie on the house! They also have the classic American Chinese dishes like honey walnut shrimp and sweet and sour pork ribs that our kids usually like. we’re coming back to try the rest of the menu!

Excellent authentic Sichuan food! It’s hard to come by good Sichuan food in the area and we were so happy to find this new spot! They have plenty of Chinese-American food too if you’re not in the mood for spicy. Service was excellent too! We look forward to coming back again. Definitely worth checking out!
