Tucked away gem. Bread rolls are amazing. Ingredients are super fresh. Soups are perfect. And the service provided by Mike is outstanding. Chicken Salad was like “mom” would make. Ribeye is tender and flavorful. Take the time to find this place.

I went here to pickup an order for Handcrafted Chocolate and I decided to also get lunch. I was more than pleasantly surprised. Mike was so nice and let us try a bunch of his different delicious homemade soups. He makes his own bread and I can honestly say it is some of the best I have ever had. The ribeye sandwich was absolutely amazing as well; you can tell he only uses fresh quality ingredients. This is definitely a hidden gem and I will absolutely be back.

Wow! Best prime rib roast beef sandwich ever! Tender, roasted to a perfect medium rare, flavorful and on a freshly baked rye roll made by the chef this morning! I got to taste most of the soups and enjoyed the creamy shrimp chowder with my sandwich. We brought containers of the broccoli soup and black bean soup home with us to enjoy with dinner tonight. I Highly recommend you check out this restaurant!!!

Impressively delicious. High quality. Home made breads for the sandwiches. Interesting sandwiches and great soups. Chef Mike makes it all with love and attention. Went there today for lunch and highly recommend it. I liked it so much I got each of his soups to go so I can enjoy for the next couple of days.

Visited this place while staying in Hazlet. A short half hour trip that was worth it. The roast beef had an amazing sauce and the cheddar was fantastic. The sweet potato sandwich was a wonderful mix of flavors. The squash soup was seasoned perfectly and the spicy corn chowder had great flavor and texture. There’s a reason this place has the rating it has.

I found this place by chance and tried several soups. All were amazing. I stopped in again a few weeks later to find a new variety of soups. Again all were terrific. I am looking forward to trying more off the menu. This is a great place for a great lunch.
