I had Tates when it was a truck at my work and it was ok. My wife picked us up two steak potatoes today because we enjoy local vs chains. Honestly, it tasted like Aplo smells. My mind is blown as to what they did to this meat. Is it boiled? When you take a bite of a steak potato the dominant flavor shouldn’t be potato. Salt? Pepper? Dare I say paprika? Nope. Boiled Alpo, the jalapeños were good. This is disappointing. You have a great concept. Why are you trying so hard to not deliver. When is the last time you tasted your own “food”? Its on the low end of edible. I am 100% that this meat came in a bag with black letters that saying beef. I’m gonna try pork next. We’ll see…
