Finally got a table at Tatiana and it was 100% worth the hype! A pricy meal but definitely felt I got my money’s worth. The balance of flavors across every dish was perfection. Highlight dish of the night was a snow crab curry, which was truly one of the best curries I’ve ever had. Already dying to go back and try everything else on the menu. I can confidently say this is the best meal I’ve had in NYC

I was able to make it in as a solo diner showing up 30 minutes before service. There was a line when I showed up. The front attendant was super on it and managed lines, expectations, announced openings expertly. Met a fellow solo diner and we were able to share some dishes. Opened with the Jamaican patties and crab dumplings. Then came our 2 stars, the oxtail and the biggest shrimp I’ve evener seen. The oxtail was our favorite of the night, it was unctuous, rich, and so satisfying. The shrimp was enormous and very filling. The brioche was so interesting because it was beautifully crisp on the outside and so soft and impossibly fluffy inside. Also the strawberry shortcake was delicious. Great ambiance.

In my dining experiences, few establishments have impressed me as deeply as Tatiana’s. The service is unparalleled, easily deserving of the highest praise. I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to indulge in the experience Tatiana offers.

Finally got to try Tatiana! I walked in on a Friday night around 5pm and was told the wait was 45 min. We waited around Lincoln Center and came back around 5:45 and were told the wait would be a little longer, so we hung out in the entryway for another 45 minutes and got seated at 6:30. Once seated we ordered pretty quickly and the food came out pretty fast, we ate and finished within an hour and fifteen minutes but we are also pretty fast eaters. The food was good and had interesting flavors! We ordered the oxtail, shrimp, egusi dumplings and the black bean hummus, everything was good and we’d highly recommend the dumplings and the oxtail!

Finally got the chance to eat at Tatiana and would HIGHLY recommend it. The food is worth the hype because every dish was sooo good. We couldn’t get a reservation so we came early (30 minutes before open) to get in line. We ended up grabbing some bites at the bar and I ran into a childhood friend and after some drinks at the bar we were able to get a table. Every bite was so good and the restaurant was full of smiling faces. It’s number 1 for a reason and I can’t wait for Chef Kwame to bring his talents back to DC!!

My bf and I waited in line for almost an hour before opening in order to snag walk-in seats since getting a reservation is near impossible. We were initially seated at the bar but I asked if we could sit outside on the patio and we were immediately accommodated – score! Everything we had was delicious: goat patties, cod and cornbread, and oxtail stew (my favorite of the night). We also had a special that day which was a fancy spin on a pepperoni hot pocket – also very good. Cocktails were decent as well. I would highly recommend!

I had an amazing time at Tatiana. The space is beautiful, I’m a DJ so I really appreciated the music selection! The cocktails were very well made. I got the nutcracker & my fiancé got the strawberry fields. Both were out of this world. For the food we ordered the curry goat patties, Short Rib Pastrami and Oxtail. Everything was 10/10. Flavors were on point. I usually don’t like mustard but was slathering the mustard sauce that came with the short rib all over! I recently moved from Brooklyn to manhattan and really appreciated this restaurant. You cannot get this type of food paired with this ambiance and location anywhere in the city. That’s what makes this place special. I hope to be back soon although making a reservation is more difficult than a sneaker drop !

One of the BEST meals of my life. Not a single item we ordered missed. My favorite was the rangoon and second favorite was the decomposed brisket sandwich. We also ordered the dumplings, hummus, okra, and oxtail and each one was ridiculously tasty. They had pepper sauce on the side for the spicy Caribbean food lovers. It took us a couple of tries to find our drink of choice but the nutcracker was definitely my favorite for the sweet but not too sweet flavor. Im already looking to make another reservation.

After a long wait and a lot of alarms and finally snagging a reservation, I’m glad we got to try Tatiana. The food was very delicious and everything that we ate had a kick to it which was refreshing. We had the okra, curried goat puffs and egusi dumplings for the appetizers. The highlight was definitely the curried goat puffs hands down. The crust had a samosa like texture and the goat was a flavor bomb. The okra was great too it was sweet, spicy and crispy. For the large course we had the Crab curry and oxtail. Oxtail was rich and delicious. You didn’t need to a knife to cut the meat at all. The crab curry was good, but being a South Indian I’m partial to more spicier and flavorful versions . We wanted to try the Pastrami Suya , but they did not have it on their menu that day. Hoping we get to go back and try it.
