Tato’s is such a hidden gem that we are so thankful to have found. Their Colombian food is delicious & authentic, the pizza is perfect (from the crust to the toppings). Our daughter will only eat pizza from here now, she loves the Colombian & BBQ pizza. I have to say I am Heartbroken. I have spent 10 years telling everyone how this is the best place in Mauldin. I haven’t been in a while and went for take out tonight. The empanadas are my staple so I got 4. I got a Greek salad. I asked for souvlaki and they didn’t offer it any more. Then no Arepas. I settled on another Columbian chicken dish. Waited about a half hour. Nothing crazy. Food came out and I gave the guy my card. He swiped it and left. I asked another girl if there was anything else I needed to do. She brought the guy back and he asked me if I needed to pay again??? I explained and then had to run my card again. I checked my food and there was no sauce with the empanadas. That has always been the best part. I asked for sauce and he asked if I wanted ketchup. Finally he gave me a green hot sauce that ended up being absolutely awful. The columbian chicken dish was terrible. The chicken looked and tasted like a dry tortilla. Then there was no dressing for the greek salad. However, there was an inch of nasty water in the bottom. (See pictures) Again this has been my favorite place for 10 years. Very sad to see this new direction.

First time visit.. my youngest son had chicken tenders and fries, older son had tacos, my wife had the Colombian Pizza and I tried the Chicken Parm Hero (sub). My boys ate everything, even the large portion of chicken tenders. My wife is Colombian and was very happy with the fresh ingredients and cheese on her pizza. 8 even stole a slice and lived it too. My Chicken Parm sandwich was delicious. Bread was fresh and a bit crunchy like it should be, chicken was very tasty, sauce was good and plenty of cheese. Finally the juices were so tasty, I thought I was in Colombia. Staff is so friendly with personal care and professionalism. Restaurant was very clean as well. We will definitely return and day became our favorite.

The food is terrible. Empanadas were fried without a homemade shell. And the pizza was awful. No flavor whatsoever and way too much cheese. I do not recommend.

If you like extremely thin crust with a ton of cheese barely any sauce then you might like this pizza. We love cheese but it was just way too much. The vegetables tasted fresh which was nice. Definitely room for improvement.

Plants Over Animals
If you are looking for some fantastico pizza this is the place to go, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve driven by here and I finally called and ordered a veggie pizza, I’m sad it took me this long to try them out. Friendly staff upon arrival, Colombian owners and we had a great chat, clean, lots of soda options if you like soda. This will definitely be my go to pizza place from now on, your welcome!
