I was visiting Troy from Atlanta, Georgia- and was very excited to try out the food in downtown. Tatu was our FAVORITE spot during the trip and we dined twice during our quick stay. The ambiance is unbelievably chic/unique with delicious food to boot! My favorite dishes were a corn salsa (I would eat this everyday if I could), the octopus appetizer (had this both nights), and the delicious trout. A close second was their vegetarian- Oh my goodness! So good!

The place just opened and I wish them the best! The food was delicious, the tequila was amazing and the staff was phenomenal. The menu was unique and gave many options. Everything was out in a timely manner and the popcorn was a nice touch! We will be back and I will be bragging to all my friends about it. Incredible decor makes you feel like you are really in a tattoo parlor. Bar vibes are grown and sexy and plenty of seating options available both indoor and outdoor. The owner of this place was very kind and nice to speak with and staff was very friendly and attentive. Lovely place in a great location.

The best thing are the fresh made tortillas. Is not an authentic taqueria but if you are open for a fusion cuisine then this is a place for you. The Lebanese chef bring his own concept of a taco. The margaritas are exquisite and fresh, I appreciate not using syrup and making them from scratch, I like the Tajín rim but you can chose just salt. The Mayan Prawn is a spicy shrimp taco that I recommend to try if you like it hot.

So good! Had dinner with our daughter after moving her into her dorm at RPI. Had no idea what to expect as it was our first time in Troy. Everything was delicious! We had two vegetarians in our group and there were plenty of menu options for them. If you’re into veggies definitely try the Cauliflower Panuchos – so good! Service was great. Music was perfect. We all had a great time and can’t wait to return.

Great place to grab a quick bite to eat as well as a drink or two!! They stop serving at 9:30 p.m so make sure you get there in plenty of time. We typically spent a little over an hour, would recommend for anyone who loves spicy food!!

Was really excited to try this place, but it kind of fell flat. The food was good, not great. I know it’s a different kind of flavor than traditional mex, but it was pretty bland to me. However… If you are going for drinks, they are decent, though I thought a bit pricey. Wait staff was AMAZING! Morgan was super friendly and informative and answered all of our questions. The place itself is beautiful. I don’t think I’d go back for a full on dinner again, but I’d go back to have a drink and that mango sorbet (made locally for their restaurant, but not by them) or bread pudding.

I was in absolute awe as soon as I walked in the doors. What an incredibly unique and stunning atmosphere. I had the most amazing waiter (sorry friend.. I forgot your name) and the food… THE FOOOOD.. hands down the best guacamole I’ve ever had and the chips,. Heavenly.

I tried Tatu Tacos and Tequila this past Friday and had a great experience. I have celiac disease and am severely allergic to potatoes so I rarely try new restaurants because i know how hard it is to cater to my allergies. My server was great and made me feel super comfortable! The food was amazing and I left without a stomach ache! I will definitely be back and I hope that this review gets to the server I had! She was great!!!
