I had dinner in this restaurant with 10 of my coworkers on a Tuesday night. We sat on a small private room at the back of the restaurant that was amazing. There was a huge square table in the middle that had 3 chairs on each side. So, it’s a perfect private sitting for any party of 12 or less. Our server was amazing and did a great job with all of our drinks and orders. The food was absolutely amazing. One of our coworkers was vegetarian and there was a few option for her to pick from. All meals came with soup or salad. And the portion of the soup was perfect. Overall, an amazing experience and will be back again during my next visit.

Everything was amazing!! Great drinks, amazing food, and great service. We started with the truffle fries and the baked brie with cherry jam, both delicious. My wife had the meatloaf stack and it was awesome. I had the black and blue steak, while everything was tasty the portions of steak is a bit skint. Don’t get me wrong, it’s delicious, but a small portion. We finished the night with the boozy bourbon milkshake that was amazing.

Ate here for the first time today. Excellent food with a very interesting and unexpected menu. Our server gave us the best service. He gave us great recommendations and was very attentive and personable. 10/10 will be back.

Our family has been wanting to try Tavern 109 for awhile. The last time we made plans to go, we unfortunately chose graduation weekend, and the line was out the door and then some. Today we picked a much more opportune time in the late afternoon, and we weren’t disappointed.

Went yesterday with a group of 20 for lunch. Upon arrival our tables were ready. Excellent service! Wait staff were friendly, efficient and took good care of us. I had fish & fries with cream of asparagus soup, all so delicious! Portions good sized and even took some home. Very nice, relaxing atmosphere. I definitely will come here again!

I’ve been here a few times now. My wife and I absolutely love tavern 109. There’s Sunday brunches are phenomenal (currently not having them do not be an open on Sundays because of the pandemic). Always have great service and great food. Chicken waffles some of the best I’ve ever had, mac and cheese is to die for, their sandwiches are delicious and filling. Great selection of Michigan beers on tap and fun cocktails. If you haven’t checked out tavern 109 I highly suggest stopping by.

Wow! Loved the experience at Tavern 109. Drove about 30 minutes to try the fish and chips. It was a busy Friday and there were reservations, but we still were seated promptly. The ambience and decor are lovely, my only complaint is the lack of sound absorption. It’s very loud and noisy. The fish and chips did not disappoint; fresh cod and crispy batter with perfect seasoning. The pear pizza was unique and delicious. The draft beer menu topped off a tasty night. The restaurant was well staffed and on point, our waitress was fantastic. Worth the drive and we will be returning!

Food was great. French fries were perfect. Took a long time to get food though. Service between sitting down and getting food was tough. Waitress was very nice but must have been busy with other tables, didn’t see her very often while waiting for food. Next time we will order take out.

We stopped in for a late lunch while visiting our son. I am not sure what I was expecting, but really not what I experienced. The atmosphere was so nice. We sat outside and although it was lunchtime, I know the Dinner experience with the outdoor lighting would be so nice. We had two appetizers, the Brie cheese with jam and crostini and the Polenta bars. Yummy! My son had the burger with jam and the coleslaw and after tasting my soup he ordered his own (carrot ginger). My husband and I both ordered the Club & Cuppa, his with chili and my club made vegetarian as well as the carrot ginger soup. Soooo good! The staff was very friendly and timely! I would highly recommend. My only regret is I don’t live closer, but we will definitely be back when we visit our son again.
