First timer here. I had the Polish Platter. Kielbasa, pierogies, and Kraut. Loved it. Grew up in West Elizabeth and stopped in at the tavern. Great place. Highly recommended!

What a great find! Visiting and just googled food near me and found this gem. Service was great! Didn’t wait long before hot food was served. Pretzel sticks are warm, crispy outside and soft/chewy inside, yum! French onion soup, my heaven! Yum! Perfectly seasoned! Burgers are nice, texture is great, need a little bit more seasoning but it’s good if you like natural flavor. I’m happy with my meal there. I’ll visit next time when I’m back!

Very bad experience! The waitress/bartender was very rude! She actually argued with us and accused us saying, that is what you ordered, I only brought what you asked, and we were like no we didn’t, and she was like, YES you did, and was actually getting loud…Never brought me things I ordered and had nerve to charge me, and then she actually looked at me when she handed me the bill and said I brought you that, and I said NO you didn’t! She was like o, I got really busy.. she was standing at the bar talking to someone for over 15 min! Never got any refills on drinks! Flies all over where you are sitting and eating! Most tables were filled with old cups and dishes, very dirty! I hope they have cameras so they can see how lazy and rude she was! I BEG YOU, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! If I could give a lower score I would! On a positive note, plenty of parking!

What a great time! Food was too tasty to take photos in time. Huge draft beer selection and the outdoor patio dining area was great. We will be back. I can’t believe it wasn’t busier. Dennis was our server… extremely friendly, polite, and made our evening care free. A+

Food was good. Seemed mostly fresh and not frozen food. Dinning room is a little dated and a little uninviting, also very loud, no sound buffers. I would definitely go back for the food though.

A nice, warm, cozy place on a cold February evening. Food is good and portions are plentiful, especially given the low-to-mid price point. The service was quite friendly, attentive, and responsive. The salad greens left a bit to be desired, but other than that the food was delicious. It’s off the beaten path by about a mile, so it has that mom and pop place feel that most restaurants on 51 don’t have anymore.
