My girlfriend and I started to come here for lunch on Friday Lenten beer-battered fish; which was excellent. Today we stopped by at opening (11:00) and tried a couple of their other dishes. My girlfriend had the mahi mahi and she thought it was delicious and tender. She also enjoyed the sweet potato waffle fries. I had the Tavern Burger with fries. The beef was fresh and perfectly cooked (medium). The gouda cheese, over-easy egg and bacon made a perfect combination for taste. The fries were hot, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The service was great. Kerry was very friendly and personable and well-prepared, considering we opened the place. We plan to visit more often now that we’ve discovered that this restaurant has a wide variety of quality items on their menu.

Great atmosphere with a home-like feel; waitresses so friendly and make you feel like old friends. Watched an elderly woman eating alone and one waitress sat and talked with her as she ate – very impressed. Food was good bar food and the prices reasonable. Will head back to this tavern in the wall!

Great burgers at tavern in the wall ! Nice little hometown bar that’s good for a shot and beer.. Not a wild Friday night place.. Not a global food destination. Just a beer and burger community staple that’s worth checking out!

Went to dinner here with a friend. Loved that they had Pitt soft ball, NCAA tournament game, and the local high-school playoff basketball game on the TVs. The drinks were good. The food was delicious. It felt like a good neighborhood bar. Would go back.
