First time at Taverna Berrocal and definitely not the last. Small, but very classy. If you have never tried Peruvian cuisine, it is fresh, healthy and utterly exquisite. The chef also offers some Italian cuisine, also beautifully executed. Our waiter was first class, personable and very knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back.

Today was our very first time trying this restaurant and I wish I would of found it sooner as my wife and I both agree we found a new favorite restaurant. Enjoyed a great Sunday brunch, which by choice choose a fixed 4 course meal for $25 and we can’t say enough about the amazing favors and the presentation of each dish. The service was top notch, and by the third course we were stuffed but not enough to at least sample the dessert and then took the rest to go.

This food was incredible, and is sincerely one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Our server Wendy was attentive and very pleasant, while Chef Juan Berrocal executed the dishes to perfection. Everything was beyond our expectations, and I will be back for sure, and would highly recommend trying this restaurant if you haven’t done so already!

This restaurant may just be Ocala’s best kept secret! Let us keep it secret no longer. The menu is spectacularly diverse and tastes even more spectacular! The owner and chef is amazing. The restaurant is so quaint you can actually see him work his magic. You can taste the pride he takes in his cuisine. The service is personal and amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant. The portions are the perfect size and the price is right! Plan your next night out at this little gem of a restaurant!

Came and enjoyed a nice, quiet dinner for 2. We made reservations on Google, but there were enough tables for walkins tonight (but only 8 tables inside). Cuisine was Peruvian, French, Italian. The highlights of the meal were the Octopus olivo and the Chimichurri skirt steak. Wait staff were pleasant and attentive. We hope to return and try some different items on the menu.

Great food and very well displayed! Enjoyed the Chisaya Mama (fish plate) and it was very tender, buttery and delicious. Hubby enjoyed the Lomo Saltado. The flavors just bursted with goodness! Then we enjoyed Tiramisu made from scratch and also homemade brownies with Ice cream. So good! You definitely must check this place out!
