We had a lovely time at this warm and inviting family-owned restaurant. Everyone we met was so kind and hospitable, service was great, ambiance was lovely. Food was good; fresh Italian. Bruchetta was unusual, one half is sweet not savory, vongole was too salty that day, but I might try it again, clams were manila and in the shell; the other 2 pasta dishes we got were much enjoyed (one was cacio e pepe). Wine was nice. Cesar was normal, dressing a little light on flavor, steak tartar was good (I’d put it in my top 10 list, and I try that everywhere I go). I would definitely return, there was more to try! I can see how this locale could be a local staple or a nice date restaurant or for a special occasion. If you are looking for a more red sauce, baked or large plate experience, this is probably not going to please you.

Delicious pasta and great service from everyone we spoke to. The place has a very cozy and warm feeling to it. The food was so fantastic we ordered 3 plates for the 2 of us to share. The owner was so nice and came over to speak with us to make sure everything was going well, we spoke for several minutes about Italy and his story.

Pasta was fantastic. The mushroom pappardelle was phenomenal and had a nice rich flavor, the meatballs in the spaghetti were delicious and soft, the carbonara was decent (a miss for me).

Warmly greeted by a smiling bartender the moment we walked in. We were able to sit in the back garden area- lovely! Had a wonderful waiter. The food and wine is on point. Three employees in FOH worked as a team- such incredibly wonderful attitudes! The food was cooked with intention and care. Each dish flavorful! I’d definitely recommend this restaurant as one of the all around best in the area.

Delicious pasta! I would eat here every time I visited the city. The carbonara was creamy and very flavorful, and the gatlic bread was delicious! My partner got the rigatoni, which was also delicious. I also appreciate that the owner of the establishment was involved in the restaurant. He was our server and made sure everything was up to standard and enjoyable.

Myself and my friend had a wonderful early dinner at the Taverna Di Bacco. This is one of the very best Italian restaurants in the city. The restaurant is lovely, the food was wonderful, service was excellent, and it all came at a reasonable price which is all you can ask for. Chef Maurizio is top notch!

We ordered the $75 5-course chefs tasting menu, and 1 appetizer. All of the items were very good, but the portions were exceptionally small. There was not even any bread offered at the table as is common with most Italian places. Two dinners, a bottle of wine, and $300 later, we left hungry.

It has been a long time since I haven’t felt this way about a venue; I had such a lovely experience I cannot recommend them enough! I do not come to Lower East side a lot and it was by pure luck that I discovered it. I walked in on a Saturday evening waiting for my next engagement, set at the bar and was welcomed warmly by the owners, chef Maurizio and his lovely wife Andrea. I realized that most of the customers were frequenters and despite it being a busy Saturday evening, Maurizio spotted me as a new comer and welcomed me personally (and checked in throughout the evening) to make sure I was happy with the service and the food (which was amazing!). I had chicken parm served with “Cacio e Pepe” which was such a delice! And finished with lemon panna cotta and espresso. Wine was really good, too. It is not very cheap but you get what you pay for. Such a homey restaurant (with a lovely garden for summer) so I totally recommend it, for both the food and the old school neighborhood restaurant wibe that we miss a lot these days.
