The ambience is great. The food is bellisimo! If you’re craving for an authentic Italian cuisine, don’t go to Olive Garden. Come and try this place, you will not be disappointed. Their sauces are made to perfection. I can honestly say that their dishes are quite similar to this one restaurant I went to in Rome.

I’ve dined at the SF restaurant and absolutely fell in love with the food and the atmosphere. It really feels like you’re getting the full Italian experience. So you can image my excitement when they opened another restaurant closer to my location. I’ve eaten here twice and it hasn’t disappointed. Granted the experience is quite the same as the SF location but it saves me a 34 mile trip (plus traffic).

This is a fantastic place! The service is very friendly and generous and the food is excellent. There are plenty of standard choices and unique dishes as well. The fettucini with shrimp and the osso buco are my favorite so far. The antipasto was a great starter for two or a meal in itself for one For Orinda, the prices are modest particularly considering the portions. Nice bar with large screen TVs. Go dubs!

Went there a little at random and was very pleasantly surprised! This is a top tier Italian restaurant with several authentic dishes, and actual Italian staff. Tried the osso bucco, risotto and one of the gnocchi dishes and they were all truly excellent.Will come back for special occasions.

Pizzas are excellent! I usually get mushroom, arugula and spinach with tomato sauce and no cheese. The flavor of the sauce is so good and the crust so crunchy yet chewy, that I do not miss the cheese!

Best Italian restaurant in the contra costa area, and there SF location Pizza Pellegrini one of top in sf. Dario the owner of both resteraunts has found great people with excellent food. The combination is a home run.
