WORST PIZZA EVER! OMG, I have NEVER had such terrible pizza. DO NOT order their pizza. I had family visiting in town and we ordered two small pizzas. The pizza looks nothing like the pictures. I ordered a margherita pizza and it was SOAKED in garlic and oil (see pictures). It was utterly inedible. The garlic was so strong that it was burning my mouth. The tomatoes were not cooked with the pizza. Tasted like they were added on after like they forgot. My dad ordered a pizza with sausage and bell peppers (not standard on their menu special) and it also was terrible and had strong garlic. It is thin, little sauce and the tastes are not balanced. Not New York style at all. I called and the manager offered to remake the pizzas or order two additional pizzas another time. This was not enough. If you do not deliver edible food, I deserve a cash refund. Why would I try the pizza again? I do not trust an Italian restaurant that cannot make a basic pizza. I regret wasting my money here. Do not come here.

Tavi’s unusually shaped restaurant doesn’t lend to the romantic ambiance you would usually expect. However, don’t let that stop you from enjoying some very delicious Italian food.

The atmosphere may not be the greatest but the food and service are! Juan and the team will go out of their way to accommodate you. Diana especially is a terrific server. Eight of us arrived just before close due to a late meeting and they stayed open for us! Not too many places would be that customer service oriented!!!

It’s a great place! I don’t know why it took me so long to try it, but was definitely NOT disappointed! The food blew me away! The atmosphere is great for family night or date night. Plenty of room to handle a big crowd.

My 2 sons and myself go here once a week. Sometimes more. We absolutely love this place. I mean LOVE! My 10 year old is obsessed over the stuffed mushrooms and the spaghetti and meatballs. My 5 year old loves to order his own food and his go to is the “kids chicken Alfredo, add chicken, and broccoli” and I am so sorry he orders more bread everytime he sees the waitress. BTW she is an absolute doll and so sweet to my boys every time we see her. I love the lobster ravioli. I try something new everytime I go to tavis and I have yet to try a dish that wasn’t absolutely amazing. The sauces are so good and have so much to each one. Even the kids pasta dishes have really great sauces. Typically when we get Alfredo from other Italian food places, the sauce will be bland and tasteless or so thick…. not at tavis. It is sooooooo good. I can’t even explain how excited my kids get when they know we’re going to Tavis. We moved to the area 3 years ago and this is our favorite place to eat at the lake hands down. Nothing else compares. My boys usually finish their plates completely before we leave. & I gotta say as well the bread is so good. We will look back on these memories when they’re older that’s for sure. Thanks for being awesome

Classic oven pies, flavorful sauce, crispy crust but a little light on the toppings. The stromboli exceeds expectations in flavor and filling. The pasta dishes including the salmon are full of flavor.
