My husband and I have been to this restaurant a couple of times, but Burger Week 2023 was our first time eating here. How could I say no to a burger with mushrooms and fondue? (After all, they don’t call it fon-don’t!) This was a hefty burger. Loaded with mushrooms and caramelized onions, overflowing with fondue, with pickles and jalapenos added into the mix to give it some zing. (A little heavy-handed on the jalapenos, but that is my own personal preference!) The buns were soft, but did well at holding up to the amount of cheese this tasty monster had. It was a burger that just kept on giving, and I’m incredibly happy I can say I didn’t miss out on it! Service and drinks were excellent as well!

Went during the Mercury’s Portland Burger Week ($8 burgers!) and everything was great! Due to the popularity of the burger week, it was busy in the restaurant. However, the service was still pleasant! There were no hosts and we were overlooked by servers several times. It took about 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, and we ultimately just sat at the bar. Bartender was busy but kind, apologetic about any mishaps, and helpful overall! Food and drinks were both tasty, and I would come back to try other menu items in the future!

Atmosphere and service were great. And good cocktails and wine. Reasonable prices. Problem is the food is average at best. Crab cake tasted like deep fried tuna salad. Ahi steak very overcooked. Salad limp and swimming in dressing. Even the carbonara was not very flavorful. Bread pudding was good however. Maybe other menu items are better?

Wife and I came to Portland on business, ate dinner here and it was amazing, service was top notch. We were coming to Portland a second time and made sure to come here to eat for lunch. Once more was blown away with how delicious the food is, anyone and everyone should come eat here if they are looking for great food and service.

Stayed overnight at the attached hotel, so it made total sense to grab dinner and breakfast here.

I’ve never once felt this unwelcome at a bar(.) The place hated me from entrance to exit. I was insulted multiple times from multiple people.

A very good place. Prices were very reasonable. I got a pizza with sausage and pepperoni for 17 dollars those are pre pandemic prices

Popped in here before a show for a quick bite. For a Friday evening at 6:30 we were concerned that it was only 1/3 full, but our fears were quickly assuaged. There was a good assortment of reasonable priced dishes on the menu of upscale, American-style food, and some of it may look familiar if you’ve been to Swank and Swine. We decided on sharing a few small plates, sides, and salad. Everything we ate was delicious and came out very quickly. Though we didn’t get to try them, the cocktails looked inspired. The seating was comfortable and the space was well designed. The server was friendly and on top of keeping our water glasses filled.

This will be my new go-to in downtown! Menu hits all the right spots for my taste buds and has my absolute favorite sauvignon blanc on the wine list. Cozy yet spacious, loved the fireplace and velvet touches.

Came in for burger week. They had a fondue and mushroom burger with jalapeno and pickle that was very good.
