This place is a hidden gem I’m so glad we stop there after we went to the Wolf Park. The waitress we had was very very good. This is a kid friendly tavern. The chicken strips for the kids came with four large chicken strips so they were able to share. The Buffalo chips are very good. The New York strip is a 12-oz cooked-to-order good steak.

Great place it has two different sides. One side you can sit with your family and have kids and the other sids more for older people, since it has a bar. Also, the waiters are really nice. one time all the tables were reserved but they still let us eat at a table that was coming in 30 minutes which was really nice. Also, you got to try their clam chowder it’s like really good.

Diane was an absolute hoot and we had the best time. The steaks are absolutely top notch and cooked to perfection! Our family had the filet, sirloin and New York strip and hand breaded tenderloin. Very family friendly and clean restaurant. Definitely will be back!

I’ve been twice now. First time I had ribeye and it was good. 2nd time I had prime rib and was very disappointed. Approx. 40% fat/gristle and meat was chewy not tender (I ordered medium). I ordered a side salad because they said they made their own blue cheese dressing but I don’t think I even got one chunk of blue cheese. I’m not sure if I would go back again. Locals rave about the place but I don’t think it’s anything special. If I did go back I would probably just get a sandwich. Servers are busting it and do a great job.

Have been going here for years, but so disappointed anymore feels like we are being rushed and forced into making decisions rite when we walk in door Didn’t even give us a chance to sit down!!! Slow down!!!!! We are there to enjoy and relax!!! And we noticed this last several times by the same waitress who informed us she had been there 23 years!!! Sent a steak back 2xs raw, ordered well done still didn’t get it rite!!! Won’t be back till you get it together, people want a nice relaxing atmosphere not a rushed put out ,the door dinner experience!!!!

We had a 8 pm reservation and was seated by 8:10 pm and the place was packed! (Very small place). After getting our food, we understood why it was busy! Their food is awesome! I ordered the filet mignon and I don’t think I’ve had a better one! It was AWESOME, along with the rest of the food! We definitely will be back, real soon! Worth the hour plus drive for sure!
