TDT is hands my favorite BBQ spot. I remember the first time I heard about it and I was skeptical because it’s in a gas station. Almost two years later and Chef still doesn’t disappoint. The grilled Salmon is perfection, the mac-n-cheese leaves you feeling like no portion size is ever big enough, the veggies seasoned with turkey are on point, and the variations of cornbread is sinful. As I told him last week, he ain’t helping make no summer bodies.

First time trying this place I ordered on ubereats. It far exceeded my expectations and the pricing is great for what you get. I normally order from sweet auburn, but their sides and prices make me avoid them. Everything in the pics ( 5 rib bones, 3 thick slices of brisket, 2 healthy side portions, 2 pieces of bread, and about 20 wings) came to $25 with a coupon I had on ubereats. Granted idk if they charged me correctly for the wings. I ordered 5 but they sent 20. It was sooo good! The rub on the wings did hit a bit salty, but the smoke was perfect. The ribs were tender and smoky and the sides (mac n cheese and yams) paired perfectly and we delicious in their own respects. My favorite thing was the brisket though. I could eat a pound of that alone. The bark on it was delicious. I’m 100% returning to this place.

So I wanted to try because of the reviews and the fact they had turkey ribs! The ribs looked scary and uncooked!!!! Mac and cheese was so much cheese and barely noodles, the greens had a terrible bitter taste, the baked beans has a weird taste to it, and so did the peach cobbler which Was extremely watery with ONLY peaches and liquid no crust and had a foul taste to it. The only thing good was the yams, only complaint were they had a lot of the sweet topping they use and not enough of the actual yams! 0/10 would not recommend, the worst bbq I’ve ever had smh

Quick professional service. The food was good without the BBQ sauce. They give you a tremendous amount of food. I paid $23 for a combo plate with ribs and chicken and three people ate off that one plate. The BBQ sauce tasted like baked beans juice. Everything else was absolutely enjoyable

Had the opportunity to try TDT at a community event and I was not disappointed! I had smoked wings with sides of Mac n cheese and dirty rice. The rib tips looked so good I ordered a side of those AND apple cobbler. Looked up the place and it is near my house! Everything had just the right flavor and seasoning! I will definitely be stopping by, and will recommend to my neighbors! (Trying to catch that salmon and lamb chops) Thank you!

First time there, I had the smoked wings which we’re very delicious because they we’re sold out of their ribs, the cook was awesome great customer service wait time was less than 10 minutes & they were busy!! I was very hesitant because they were located in a gas station but my experience was one for the books cause I’m very picky!!! I can say I would go back!!

got the ribs and brisket, did not receive the brisket, but got sausage instead. that was the only good thing about the entire plate… The ribs were charcoaled to the point where the BONE was edible… The meat was dry and overcooked, the sweet yams were good , the mac & cheese was ok to say the least and the cornbread was your typical dry cornbread nothing to write home about. The barbecue sauce had some weird nutmeg/cinnamon flavor to it kind of offputting and peach cobbler tasted like apple pie. You couldn’t even taste peach.

I saw on Instagram that they had grilled lamb chops one day so I hurried to go get some. By the time I got there, they were sold out. . But Chef Shombe gave me a rain check and said I could come another day to get some and they would be on him! I thought that was very nice since this was my first time visiting there but I’d been following his IG page for months. I decided to get the turkey wings, ribs, sausage dogs, Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, collard greens and potato salad. OMG!!! The turkey wings were smoked to perfection and seasoned just right. The ribs fell off the bone and had that grilled/smoked flavor I love. The sides were cooked like my grandma made them. Everything was sooooo good. My family of four ate off this food for two days. I’ve found my new favorite spot for soul food. I highly recommend this place! I’m definitely going back – for the grilled lamb chops and on days when he doesn’t have those on the menu.

I will definitely put this place on my list of restaurants to visit again!!!! I got a combo plate with smoked salmon(most barbecue places neglect to offer this), chicken breast, collards, & mac n cheese! Hands down best Mac n cheese ever!!! Everything is good and taste like home! Kudos Chef Shombe!!
