The food choices and quality are always top-notch at this place, my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Denver metro area! Service is a little rushed. You have to ask them to slow down between courses sometimes. I also recommend the plum wine to go with your meal. It’s delicious. Calamari is a fantastic starter.

Some dishes are better, otherwise okay in general. The Eggplant with Tofu was best out of the 6 dishes we tried, the other eggplant dish also better than other. Beef Chow fun was next. Moo Shu and Kung Pao was so so, the combination with Garlic sauce was great disappointment.

Great little spot tucked on the side of a nice residential area. The dishes were presented very nicely and the staff was great. However, I felt each dish was lacking. I could not tell the difference in the Beef and Broccoli that my kids order and the Hunan Beef that I got other than the pepper flakes. The chow fun OK, but rather plain. I was hoping for more individualized tastes between the dishes. I guess I will have to keep looking. Still a nice place to get good food. Just done get your hopes up and it’ll be fine.

Fantastic! Super! Wonderful! Can’t wait to go again! We’ve just made a vow my husband and I, to try new places when we go out, no revisiting the same places. Yeah, every other Friday, I’m pretty sure you’ll find us here. So much better than our local place in Aurora, I’m sad to say. But happy we found it, yay!!

I’ve been to the tea garden over 100 times over the course of 12 years. Even though it is under new ownership, the food and more importantly the recipes have remained the same. If you had a Chinese restaurant that you grew up going to, this is probably very similar to that.

We were happy to find a good Chinese takeout place when we moved to Arvada. We’ve been ordering here for several months but the last two orders have not been as good. Don’t know if there was a staff change in the kitchen or a recipe change (Egg Fu Young, in particular)…less flavorful. The chicken fried rice has been consistently good. They are fast for pickup. I submit the order and it’s ready every time I get there…it’s less than a 10 minute drive.

ALWAYS GOOD! We love this place! The service is lightning fast and the food is consistently wonderful. The staff is kind and extremely accommodating. We eat here 3 or 4 times a month and the staff always remembers us and what we order. Very clean as well. This is an Arvada staple that I hope never goes out of business.
