Eaten breakfast twice and just had dinner. It’s a hotel restaurant so the prices are high, but the food quality and service are truly top notch. They had a thing or 2 on the menu that they were out of, so I “settled” on this burger for dinner. It was perfect!

Ask for Brittany, Mike, Sam, Austin… they’re all amazing. The food menu changes from time to time but it’s all amazing food. My fav were the lamb meatballs wraps. So good. Oh and the drinks? They design them in house so you know you’re getting a unique experience.

Absolutely love this place for two reasons, the bartender Mike and his creative cocktails. I work across the street and love coming here after work to decompress. The new drink menu is a bit overwhelming and hard to read but the food is always awesome.

Super cool joint in a fun hotel. Love the vibe of this place. The tacos were delish and loved the dipping sauce. I’ve had multiple meals while staying at the Slate – all yummy. All of the servers were incredibly kind and the customer service has been top notch. Will definitely be back!

Went for Denver restaurant week and what a mistake. The food was mediocre at best. I had the pasta and that’s all it was, a bowl of pasta, a single mushroom sliced up on the whole plate. The service was terrible. It took over 3 hours to complete our dining experience. It was an hour after we finished that we asked for the check and another 30 minutes to get our cards back. I would not recommend.

Sooo not worth it! After 3 hours and a few drinks at Meow Wolf we were starving and decided to go back to the room and eat in. I ordered a cheeseburger and french onion soup. It cost me $48 but at the time the drinks and munchies were taking over my brain so I didn’t really care. The first few bites were amazing but then, everything changed. I put down the burger and went for the french onion soup. It looked a little like a Florida swamp. There was no crouton or dread of any kind, and no cheese. Just a thick brown syrup with snotty onions. By far the worst french onion soup I have ever had. After pushing it away in total disgust, I went back to my burger which no longer had a functional bun on the bottom due to mass amounts of grease. I ended up just eating the burger without a bun and fries (at least the fries were decent). needless to say we did not stay for breakfast but went to Sams #3, It was delicious and just what I needed to recover from the disappointment of dinner, which was worse then my hangover.

We dined here on March 3, 2023. The food and service was terrible. It was obvious that both the front and back of the house were mismanaged. It was an overpriced experience that did not satisfy. They were doing restaurant week which included a three course dinner for $35. The first negative experience came here because they required full participation from everyone at the table in order for one of us to do the restaurant week. They said this was so they could pace our dinner. Okay. We all participated, but the pace and service was terrible. Three of us had the stake frites, which was okay, but the fries were heavily over-salted. I had monk fish, which tasted okay despite smelling bad. However, it was literally a piece of fish served atop some sliced cabbage – it was not anything special. They took so long to ‘pace’ our dessert that we had to ask for the check before our dessert came. It took approximately 30 minutes between finishing our entrees and when they brought dessert. And it is not like the dessert was hard to plate – one of us had cookies for dessert, two of us had scoops of ice cream, and one had an apple crumble. Okay, maybe it takes 4-5 minutes to plate an apple crumble, but it should not take more than one minute to plate ice cream or cookies. Another area of disappointment came with our drinks. I ordered the drink ‘Paradise Lost’ and it was filled over the top with ice. There was probably only about 10 mL of drinkable liquid and the rest was ice. The drink cost $16. Furthermore, they only served us one round of drinks and never checked to see if we would like another round of drinks in the 1.5 hour experience. They also neglected to bring water so I had to go and grab some water carafes myself. It was a pretentious, overpriced experience with poor service. I ended up paying $136 for myself and my wife, and I wouldn’t have felt much better about the experience if it had only cost $40. I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because, while the service was bad, the server was very polite. Otherwise this would have been a 1 star experience. I do not recommend eating at this restaurant.

Excellent food and hisoitality. Restaurant did a great job tying in the history of the Hotel to the menu. Very well done. Highly recommend!

Food was delicious, atmosphere lovely, Dax was amazing, however there were four tables and our server struggled with efficient service and didn’t know what was in anything on the menus.

Ordered the bison tacos and received three sad deep fried food items that resembled taquitos that definitely did not look like tacos. There was nothing else on the plate. What was more shocking? I paid $18 for this sad excuse.
