I had ordered here before, getting brisket, so this time I ordered the 4 meat plate. What I got was a half empty container with 3 measly pieces of brisket, 2 overcooked ribs and a small portion of pulled pork (which i had ordered 2 portions of). For the money, I was incredibly disappointed.

The food was great, but the drink stations were not well maintained. My soda tasted like it had a little bit of everything in it and my sweet tea had a strong aftertaste of lemonade (likely because they use the same containers for both). Just get water if you eat here.

The moist brisket was really moist.. great smoke flavor.. a bit under seasoned (I’m used to at least a salt and pepper rub). The BBQ sauce was delicious!! The beans are good but needs more seasoning. The prices for the meat I guess I can understand but wow!! The sides are wayyyyyyy over priced!! Most bbq places don’t charge for onions, Pickles ect.. got charged for that… $15.00 for a quart of pinto beans.. crazy!!

Not a lot of BBQ spots in Spring…I usually ride out to Triple J’s Smokehouse..Decided to give Teague’s a try.. A lil disappointed.. didn’t really taste the soul!! It’s Sunday, I get it, Closed on Monday..But come on! Ordered the 3meat dinner…Sides were under seasoned..Taste pre packaged.. if it wasn’t we need to season it!! Wasn’t given the option of sauced or sauce on the side. Usually when the plate is sauced It’s the cover up mistakes… Brisket and Chicken was dry.. the ribs were just ribs.. $30 bucks… Jalapeno cornbread hard as a rock shouldn’t even been put in the box.. Maybe Sunday isn’t a good day to go here… I may give them another try because I love my people.. but in return, My people need to love what they do because it gonna show on the plate…
