Hello guy’s, you know these reviews on here definitely do not lie. The items that were purchased was delish!!!! Burger could have been cooked a bit more to give it some juice. But it was still pretty good. On thee Italian ice I have got to say folk’s ” the Watermelon ” flavor is off the hinges. It is so darn yummy!!!! Next it will definitely hafta be a Large. Be sure to $peak up. The sweet nice fella at the counter has a hard time hearing you. Unless, I was just soft spoken. Overall yummy !!!!!To the Cooks – Thank you very much. Job well done.

I started going to Teddy out of frustration. Portillo had broken my will to live and I needed something to fall back on. Little did I know Teddy would lead me to salvation. Quality of food is far beyond a local hotdog joint. Service and cleanliness are impeccable. It is more expensive than any other hotdog place I’ve been too (forgoing Hot Doug’s) but you don’t pay for it downstream. I appreciate the dedication to delivering a quality product and willingly pay more. Not everyone’s cup of tea but it’s the type of food I enjoy. The Italian ice is worth going at least once

I’m giving 3 stars because at least the food was good, but the price point was too much in my opinion. They advertise the 2 hot dog special in many places with no price then when I look at the receipt every thing is itemized separately and I was literally charged full price for 2 hot dogs separately, paid for the fries & paid for the drink all Individually. Not sure what the special was. $15.99 I guess? Should’ve just went to Portillos on Kingery 10 min away.

I have driven by here hundreds of times and do not see many people here…I stopped in, guy at counter, no hello or anything. I pay $10 for $9.87 of food and he only gives me a dime back. I look at him for maybe 3 seconds and he turns away. My point, this place cares ZERO about customers. ZERO…even after I get my food, I say thank you very much and the guy says nothing. Pass this place up…find somewhere that cares and has personality. Add to it….fries had ZERO salt and the cheese sauce had zero flavor.

Beep; Boop Beep’s! OBC is from Downers Grove and for the better part of 15 years all I’ve heard about is Teddy’s Red Hots and their delicious fries. So within ~20 minutes of our flight landing we found ourselves here for her tastebuds to take a walk down memory lane. While I will admit, the fries and onion rings were pretty darn good, that wasn’t the jaw-dropping part of the experience. Many others have commented as to it and it gets a little more personal when you are the one forking over $19 for a side of fries, onion rings and fountain beverage. I suppose it’s all relative, the poor dude behind me (btw, he entered wealthy and exited poor) got shaken down for $55 for 3 burger and fries for his kids. I sensed he was surprised too, then they gave him the total he gasped “$55?! Holy $h!t!…” I’m not certain how much revenue Teddy lost during any sort of Covid shut down, but he’ll have made it all back in no time at this torrid pace.
