Located inside Central New York’s popular Verona Beach State Park, our friendly Teddy’s Treats location takes great pride in providing a wide variety of quality food at reasonable prices. Our restaurant’s large menu include all your everyday favorites, plus typical fairground foods such as fried pickles and fried Oreos. To insure freshness the hot food on our menu is always cooked to order. For desert we have soft ice cream and a dozen flavors of premium quality hard ice cream. Add to that sundaes, milk shakes and even fried dough. Our large camp store section is well stocked with everything you need for a day at the beach, picnic area or campground. This is such a hidden gem of a snack shack!! They have a big menu, the fries are battered and delish! All of the food we got was good! The prices were good. The service was amazing! The owner is so friendly and helpful. The store has lots of stuff you might have forgotten (sunscreen, toys, snacks, drinks). We always eat here when we go to the beach! Oh and get the pickles! They are amazing!!

I highly recommend Teddy’s Treats! In fact, no visit to Verona Beach State Park (which is a great way to spend a summer day!) is complete without enjoying lunch, or even just a snack from Teddy’s. They have an impressive menu with reasonable prices, and the service is always courteous and efficient. My family and I enjoy eating in their clean and pleasant seating area as well.

This is my very first food review…ever! Teddy’s Treats at Verona Beach State Park is a new favorite! We were camping there for the week so we had a chance to sample many menu items from the large menu offerings. All of it was stellar. Not one bad bite. Teddy’s chicken sandwich with provolone and bacon was my favorite, but everything from burgers, to chicken tenders, to fresh cut ribbon chips, to fried dough and ice cream were excellent. I suggest asking for tomato on your sandwich which are organic and grown locally. They even had a lactose free flavor of ice cream amongst many other flavors. Being lactose intolerant, ice cream is almost always avoided, so this was a special treat. They even have several seafood options and special foods you might find at the Fair! It’s so good I wish it was open year round. He is directly on the water so the view is ideal. Even on a drizzly day you can sit under a pavilion in the park. Paying park admission is totally worth it to go here but if you go after 6 pm, park admission is free! You could also stroll in to the park if you were on foot. Teddy and Pam are super welcoming as are the other employees who work there. The kitchen looks immaculate. He also has a perfectly curated camp store with everything campers and park and beach goers would want. Again, I don’t normally do reviews but this was such a stand out I couldn’t resist.

Teddy is the best! He catered my company picnic. Was so easy to work with, very reasonably priced and personally delivered the food to us at a shelter. Everything was excellent and the delivery right from the restaurant meant it was still hot! Already planning on using Teddy again next year! Thanks again 🙂

We arrived five minutes after they closed up and were already making plans to go somewhere else, but the staff were extremely polite and went out of their way to serve us with absolutely no obligation to. On top of that, they even stuck around to ensure we were all set and had everything we needed. Delicious ice cream, too!
