Fantastic spot for solid food. We stopped in rather late after being out and about all day. We were able to walk in and be seated immediately. Our waitress was one of the most kind and funniest people we’ve ever met.

Great place. I’ve gone by a few times but the wait was always too long (reservations highly encouraged!) so was excited to get in there today. Had the tamarind coated wings to start and they were amazing. Lunch was steak and a Cesar salad, both really good. My only complaint is that I was only a bite or two into my appetizer when my meal and salad arrived. I finished my wings, are my salad, and the steak and fries were cold by the time I got to them. Still good, but would have been even better warm.

Husband had the club on white toast. It was good. Tomato soup needed something. Either cheese, or something. I had the Caesar salad with tuna. I really loved the salad. Tuna did not have a good taste at all. The sweet tea was very sweet and great!

Talk about delicious food! We stopped in for dinner the other night and enjoyed every bit! Our server was great, but they seemed a bit understaffed so sometimes it took her a minute to get back to us. I think our favorite part is they let us get the chicken and biscuits for an appetizer- the perfect thing to take the edge off for our group of three.

The food was delicious! Everything that we ordered was not only great tasting but portion size was huge!! The Ruben was amazing , the corned beed savory and not too fatty! Tater tots were huge the ranch dressing was homemade! And the pop tarts, oh my goodness!! My daughter had one, and I just had to try it. Wow, was it good!! Great service, too!!

One of the best meals we had in DC. Our friend who lives in the neighborhood recommended Lindsay and I come here for a “date night” away from the kids. The look of the restaurant was interesting. It had a dessert case and an old school looking bar. The restaurant was pretty cool to. We both had salads, drinks, and desserts. All were awesome. Our waitress Rochelle was also great. She made great suggestions and had a really fun personality. We will definitely come back.

Good atmosphere and quick service. We went on a Friday morning and were seated almost immediately. Our food came out quick, before we even got our coffee, which was kind of odd. The reason for 4 stars was because the food wasn’t anything special. The TUBS was dry and the hash browns were a bit cold. The bfast burrito did not have much chorizo in it, almost none at all. For the price, we had higher hopes for the food. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. Outdoor seating was along the street but felt safe and comfortable with barriers separating you from the street.

Service and atmosphere is great. Cinnamon roll is delicious. Tarts are pretty good but a little dry. Savory meals were also good but nothing too special there in my opinion.

Teds has been one of our go to places for the last 8 years of living in DC. Sadly since Covid the Barracks Row location has really gone down hill. The service is always extremely slow and you often have the manager running over after 10-15 min bringing water. They no longer have fountain beverages, and on their website it they are $2.49. Yesterday we were charged $3.50 for each can they brought to the table. We ordered the loaded tots they state “bacon, mozzarella, cheddar, sour cream and chives” they had cheddar cheese melted on top and nothing else. They also used to come with a mound on a plate. Yesterday there were 8 tots with melted cheese for $10.49. We had the chicken tenders which were great and their ranch is always our favorite. The interior is falling apart, the hallway to the bathroom has become a storage closet and the lights flicker constantly. Again, this used to be our place to go for classic American food and a great dessert but anymore it’s just rundown, over priced, and it is looking like we need to change our spot for this type of food. BE AWARE!!
