Amazing atmosphere and food here, the perfect place to stop for a quick meal. The only complaint I have is that the veggie dog was cooked directly beside all of the other hotdogs and rolled around together touching side my side the whole time with the same utensils being used. Some non meat eaters might feel uncomfortable with this so I might try to keep them separated. The employees are always upbeat and the space is always very clean.

GOOD VARIETY IN TERMS OF HOT DOGS AND SAUSAGES BUT THE HOURS OF OPERATION IS PECULIAR – ESPECIALLY FOR THE SUMMER. CLOSE MONDAY TO WEDNESDAY AND OPEN THURSDAY TO SATURDAY. WAS IN A RUSH ON THURSDAY BUT THE SERVICE WAS A LITTLE OFF. THE AC IN THE PLACE WAS WORKING AT LEAST BUT DIDN’T FEEL LIKE EATING THERE. IT HAD A LACKLUSTER ATMOSPHERE – COULD USE A MENU WEEKLY SPECIAL AND MORE STURDY CHAIRS.

They do not offer takeout orders, online ordering, or delivery – you can only walk in to place an order. I would eat here all the time if I could pick up an order on my lunch break, but I can’t as they won’t start an order until you’re in the restaurant. This seems like a blindingly obvious flaw – 99% of restaurants offer take out or online ordering. I can’t believe post-pandemic there even exists a restaurant that doesn’t offer that. Incredible.

Another stop on our Buffalo food tour… Ted’s hot dogs is a must! Perfectly cooked over charcoal, crispy skin, soft bread and an excellent ratio of toppings. We tried the chili cheese dog and a regular foot long with ketchup, mustard, relish and onion and both were super satisfying. Expect to wait about 10 minutes in line if you go during lunch hours on a weekday, but you get to watch their process as they make your food! I will definitely return here when I’m back in Buffalo. Thanks for a great experience!

Ted’s Red Hots is a must have when visiting Buffalo. They specialize in hot dogs any topping you like. Chili dog is delicious and is their specialty. Clean dining area and clean restrooms. Friendly staff.

We stopped by Ted’s while visiting Buffalo and we were not disappointed. From plain to really loaded down hot dogs to chicken and sausage, they seem to have it all here. There was a wait of course but it moves and the crowd seems to cycle out quickly.

Okay. Maybe 3.5 stars but it doesn’t allow me to give a half star. Good foot long hot dogs. Apparently a Buffalo staple. The chili one was okay. The chili was mild in flavor and I’m not huge on the cheese sauce. The with e everything dog was really good. Nice service. Friendly people. Will have to try onion rings if we ever return.

There is good, there is great and then there is exceptional. From Sal Capaccio’s all star radio advertisement, to Anthony taking my order and Emma owning the grill to cook my food to perfection, my customer experience at station#POS2/Order#1348820 on 11/11/19 was absolutely exceptional. The “Ted Burger” is all what it’s cracked up to be folks and will be loyal to Teds Hot Dogs any day of the week over Five Guys. #homerun
